DNF is finally here!

DNF (Duke Nukem Forever) is shipping to me today from GF! Not expecting a lot from this game but I am looking forward to messing around a bit before sending it back. Anyone else getting it?

I got my E-mail notification too. Looking forward to this one. I know it's not going to be great, but I' sure it is going to fun and I'll have a few laughs with it.

Same here. Reviews are all pretty bad for this one but I think it should be fun for nostalgia if nothing else. Play through the SP mess around with the MP and then send it back.

So, I finally got around to playing Duke Nukem Forever (DNF) or as I like to call it "OMG WTF is this crap!" Possibly the worst game I have ever played! Seriously. I got as far as getting out of the casino and had to quit, take the game, seal it in the GF envelope and take it out to the mail box (at 10pm). I didn't even want it in the house for fear that it's crappyness would somehow infect anything around it.

I literally couldn't take anymore of this game. Truly awful. Bad graphics, horrible and dated gameplay, terrible controls, cringe worthy voice acting, nauseatingly bad story and all the charm of a 14 year old in a COD lobby! Honestly the worst piece of crap I have seen in a long time.

Too bad too. I really wanted to like it. I read all of the bad reviews and thought "hey, it's probably not that bad." I played the DN games back in the day and really enjoyed them. They were fun and I wanted bring back that spark again. Take a stroll down memory lane. But when I got there I found that memory lane had been paved over and in it's place was a monument to everything crappy and juvenile. It's not even a shadow of the old games, it's a cheap bastardization. Shame on you Gearbox, shame on you (and every other company that helped out over the years in development).

yep that game was total crap

I don't know how you or anyone actually finished it. It was so bad I just had to turn it off and I usually pride myself on finishing games.

Soo... I should buy this game and play it till the wheels fall off... or until I stab out my eyes and plug my ears with concrete so I don't have to be assaulted by it anymore?
