Of course there are things we will not be showing at E3, including the game’s extensive co-op campaign, the introduction of Team Death Match mode and the Battlefield 3 Battlelog web destination – featuring powerful social tools, feeds and detailed player stats. Battlelog also lets you manage your friends lists, squad up, create platoons, use voice chat and follow your friends’ progress in real-time, and more. Battlelog will be available for the monthly fee of (drum roll)... zero dollars. We look forward to providing more information on these features in the near future!

Can't wait! If I had to choose I think I would go for Battlefield 3 over MW3. It's gonna be a tough choice come November.

Either way both will be a huge jump up from the current games. Very different gamestyles though. I'd say BF3 >> Homefront and MW3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Blops

i would have to agree with you on this the games out right now got really old really really fast

I have said it befor and I'll say it again. I really like Black Ops. I think it's the 2nd best made to date (the original MW being the best). I am just burnt out on COD in general. MW3 could be the best by far and I still wouldn't be very excited about it.

Battlefield on the other hand is a little different. If they fix the 4-player party/chat issues I think it will be very exciting. And if we can get the support as a clan. My biggest fear is that BF3 will be very good but everyone will be playing MW3 like good little sheep (Ops, didn't say that out loud did I?). If that happens, BF3 will die pretty quick around here.

Yeah I like Blops a lot too, I just always hope that the next versions will be a big improvement.

which is normaly the case for one reason there has always been one major fail with BF
if they do fix the private lobby's issues ,party/chat sizes
i think BF3 could live past Mw3

and you never know now that IW is not the big boss on mw3 it might totally suck but on the other hand it might be the best cod game to date mybe even beat cod4
mostly just got to wait and see i have always loved BF so i know ill be getting it 100% and cod fan boy as well 100%

and black ops is boring you noobs cant talk your not 15th with nothing to do =)

I think the big difference between CoD and BF is the gameplay really. CoD really is a more mindless style of gameplay. I can be hammered at 3am without having played for months and fairly easily hop in to a public lobby and still be around the top of the leaderboard, and there is constant action (See CoD:WaW big maps for why that game wasn't played as much; action slowed down)
BF has always been huge scale with generally slower gameplay. If you die you've got a decent walk unless a teammate is doing something right. Games that have fast easily accessible action will always be more popular. For games like BF3 to last in our clan we just need a solid group of guys that are always on.

I think one big thing for me is the fact that Activision has the balls to charge a monthly fee for CoD Elite when they still don't have anything co-op to speak of which forces every person to pay full retail for their copies. That's probably the biggest reason I'll be picking up BF3 before MW3.

Those videos are great looking. I have high hopes for BF3. I just hope you can take a large party into battle. If so, this game will rock.

I've never been a fan of the BF and after seeing the trailers for BF3, I'm pissed that I didn't give it a chance. This is as good as purchased...
