Re: battlefield 3
Looks sooooooo good. It sucks that the PC version is going to be so much better though, I wanna get it for Xbox to play with you guys but it just isn't Battlefield without 64-player matches
Re: battlefield 3
d@mn, that game really does look bad @SS! Make me want a gaming PC for the first time in a long time.

I like the smaller games myself. Being one of 32 (or 64 for that matter) means I can do very little to affect the outcome of the match. I am competitive and play to win, and want a smaller team that I can coordinate with and help, as well as work together towards victory. Thirty plus players on a team makes it no different than playing randoms by yourself or single player against the CPU for that matter. To each his own I guess.

Re: battlefield 3
I do prefer 32 players actually (24 and under seems too small for BF), but 64-player matches can be a TON of fun with the right people. It's just nice to have the option of having a giant war, even though I'd probably stick with somewhat smaller games.
Re: battlefield 3
All my best BF memories are with a couple friends in a full server. I suppose it's neat being in the middle of a massive battle and rolling through the other people you run into on the field.

I'm getting this game regardless of the number of players in a game. Except for the terrible running animation of the player, these are some of the most amazing graphics I've ever seen.

This game looks sick and seems very war environment realistic, I base that on actual footage that I've watched...alot. Seems to capture that very well, but I'm sure you all that have served would be a better judge of that. Anyway I really want that game!

They do a good job as far as making it look run down, but nowhere in Iraq has buildings like that anymore. Not even Baghdad. And then I notice stuff like infrastructure, such as paved roads and street signs, etc., and there's a lack of that there too. BTW, none of that is going to keep me from getting this game haha. So far I'd say the only thing that would keep me from getting it would be if they have the same squad/team thing where you can only talk to three people. Also I'd like to see some smaller maps to cut down on people who sit on some random rock a mile from the objective and stares ADS for the entire game. Plus I think smaller maps would allow them to bump up the graphics as well.
