Change of Mind!

Well as you know I ordered a Ipad 2 32g 3g blah blah blah...since then I changed my mind, canceled and reordered the one I was looking for in the first place. So now I Ordered the Black 64gig wifi only version. The reason is I don't want to pay twice for a data plan. My BB Torch has a data plan which they should allow more than one device on but don't. There is a company that sells a wifi hotspot device that tethers to cellphones and it has 3g/4g capability. It's compatible with my BB so that's seems like a better solution then paying twice for something I'm not gonna use often. It pushed the receive date 2 days later no big deal.

Good call. WiFi for sure! I have never really found myself wanting the 3g between my iPhone and and WiFi hotspots. I will probably upgrade to the iPad 3 next year and I highly doubt I will get a 3g version.

Same with me 'septor. I will definitely get iPad 3 but no 3g or 4g or whatever the f&*k is popular when the time comes.

My order has been expedited it was projected to come on the 13th but now it's coming on the 4th I ordered a otterbox case for it, very durable! I look forward to it...Hey my God Daughter called me Batman for rescuing her, lol. It's funny how little kids associate their life experiences with kid shows. I guess how Batman rescues everyone is how she see's me now, lol.

My iPhone is jailbroken and I can use it as a HotSpot to get on the net with my laptop

I'll pass on to you what JWriter passed on to me when I first got my iPad. The single most impressive "cloud" software I found you can have available is dropbox. With it you can upload/download files and there's nowhere you can go that you won't be able to access the same files, documents, pictures, etc. from your desktop and other devices just like you're at home (free up to 2GB).

Some other great apps for the ipad- Flip book (allows you to read rss feeds, peoples twitter or face book post.....and more but it a magazine type format)
-Pandora radio
-Netflix if you have an account
-Evernote (productivity app, note taking and much more-
-The Daily is a great app but has a limited demo period before you have to subscribe.
-Espn Score Center XL if your a sports fan
Check out and see if your bank or cable provider make apps as they can be very useful

All of these I have, but as for the Daily I will suggest you go with something like WSJ or even USAToday. The Daily is beautifully crafted but it's what I'd call sensationalized supermarket tabloid stuff rather than news--eventhough ironically it's made by Fox /Rupert Murdoch. Basically you're paying for a magazine!
