May have to change my name

All across the country and especially in social outlets (xbox, PS4, facebook, twitter, etc.) my handle is getting alot of unwanted negative attention.
Not sure when this started (talking the real life clown stuff) but it's starting to leak into something I'm not looking forward to. For instance I've read reports of the FBI etc. checking everyone with my name in their handle. As you know, I've been "Klown" for a very, very, very long time. Now I've been life hacked! A bunch of kids thinking it's cool and funny have made life hard on me.

LOL, you joke but people are serious and afraid in multiple states. Now just seeing my name pop into a lobby or I post something on Facebook, twitter etc. it takes on an instantly negative connotation. Or worse, I get labeled as a follower and just jumping on a trend, when I started it. I made being a killer clown cool   ...
Now, they've ruined my legacy and I must start from scratch.

Let me start by stating this is a first in my 20+ years as an educator…..I am not sure if you are aware, but there has been recent reports of “creepy clowns” in towns across the US. It seems that urban legend combined with social media has started a bit of hysteria. Last night there was a shelter in place at Merrimack College due to a report from social media about an “armed clown” being on campus. The report was determined to be a hoax. Additionally, there is a twitter feed called Clown Watch that reported a clown being seen in the woods behind SHS and another tweet stating there was a clown at White City. This twitter account has postings of clown sightings all over the U.S. For those unfamiliar with Twitter the account asks for people to privately message where they see clowns and the twitter account publishes these location via their twitter account. I have already received emails from concerned parents who are worried about these clown sightings and the parents indicated their children are nervous to go to school today. That being said, I am sure your students will talk about some of this as SHS students were a buzz about the topic on social media last night, so I want you to do your best to quell the rumor and then move on with your instruction/daily activities. I have already communicated these reports to the Shrewsbury Police and Dr. Sawyer. If you hear or see anything that is out of the ordinary, please contact one of the APs or me.

Yeah, this was last night. It's not dead...kids are going ape sh*t at Penn State looking for the three seen on campus.

I didn't say it was already dead, I said it would be in a few months. Just ride out the storm. You'll regret a name change unless you really wanted to for your own reasons. Don't let stupid people dictate how you live your life.

It's all kids buying into the social media hype and others stirring the pot buy doing sh1t like dressing like clown to scare people. I say ride it out till after Halloween but hey it's your choice do what you want.

yeah, I'll lay low. Been mostly playing solo stuff like road to the show etc. but ventured onto Halo the other night and had a few d*ck wads talking crap about my name, clowns in general, what they'd do to them if seen, etc. but after a few clean kills followed by a good "klown bagging" aka teabag not much more was said.
