Re: LA Noire
Played it at a friends house, pretty cool game. I'll be busy with Mortal Kombat for a while, and if I somehow get tired of that Dirt 3 is next in line. Plus have a huge line of games to finish/replay so not likely I'll get it.

Re: LA Noire
Is anyone else playing this game? I've had it for a few days... and man do I really like it.... It is a PRETTY game. They did an excellent job of representing the period and making you feel immersed in the 40s. The story is good and I really like playing a detective. The facial animations are out of this world. You can really see the emotions on a characters face, and since you have to use those facial ticks to judge whether someone is telling the truth or not, they better be good.
What do you guys think?

Yeah Glock this is a must buy, makes you think and the characters facial expressions and look are very realistic. This game is outstanding! Klown you know the drill, buy it!

I gotta get back into this game and finish it up before I get too buried in something else, like trying to tune an A class that might be slightly competitive.

Me too. I am pretty close and just need to finish it up. I love this game! Just been crazy busy lately with summer and the kids. And it's really not a game I can play in front of the kids you know?

Re: LA Noire
Yeah I took a break to spread my time over some Blops and some sports games and then I never went back. I know the end will be epic, I just need to finish it off.

Re: LA Noire
Well, I finally finished it off and I must say that this was an AMAZING game! Some people have their gripes about the ending (Don't worry, no spoilers) but I didn't. I truly loved this game start to finish. It was an amazing and unique experience which is a rarity these days. In a world of squeals this was a breath of fresh air. Wonderfully crafted and very immersive. I constantly found myself getting into the role of the character and just losing myself in the game. One of the best games I have ever played. Highly recommended. If you get a chance you really should play it. I think Amazon has it for like $37 right now. Go get it.

I just finished it this morning and it was really pleased with how the game ended. I agree that this is such a refreshing game and that it was like nothing I've played before. I recently watched "The Maltese Falcon" (for the first time) with my wife and this game is like scenes from that movie. Cole and Jack are like different parts of Sam Spade and the scenery and detail put into the game, the characters, and everything is excellent. I hope that I can have as much fun free roaming, completing street crime cases, sight seeing, and 'chivo hunting.
I do have a question about the DLC cases. I downloaded the Rockstar pass that gives you the 4 suits, the badge challenge, and the four new desk cases but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the DLC desk cases. Do these have to be downloaded before you finish working the cases of each desk or can you get to them after completing the game? When I "Resume" the game after beating it it picks up at the start of the final act of the final case.

Re: LA Noire
After you get the rockstar pass, load your game and go to the downloadable content page within the game. From there you should be able to download the new cases. Once downloaded go to the cases menu and they should be there for you to play.

Gotcha, I'll have to try that out over the next couple days so that I can finish those last 4 cases. Thanks for the help.

I was downtown a few nights ago and saw the Central Library. I was like hey, I've climbed on top of you in a video game.
It was kind of neat.

Yeah, that's kinda like when San Andreas came out and I remember streets and some of the setup of the Vegas strip when my wife and I went there after the game came out. Kept looking for lunatics frantically cruising around shooting civilians and running them over.
