LA Noire

This is a game that I have been following for quite some time and I must say that it looks like Rockstar may have done it again. Just read a great article in IGN - http://ps3.ign.com/articles/116/1162011p1.html. It's a long read but worth while. Look like they are intergrating elements of Heavy Rain and some more pretty cool stuff too. Looks like they are once again raising the bar. If they hit it, Rockstar will once again have a huge hit on their hands. Like Red Dead Redemption, this looks to be more than just GTA Noire. Very excited for this! Launching next month (5/17/11).

Ya it looks pretty good, but I can't really get over the time it's set in, not really my cup of tea, might just have to gamefly it. I think I'll be too busy with brink, crysis, new maps for blkops to really get into it

I've been looking at this game as well.....We'll see but I'll most likely pick it up

I'll be Game Flying it too. Not even sure if I'll get it right away due to having other games out but I am definitely gonna play it. Westerns are not my cup up tea personally but Red Dead was freakin AMAZING. Can't miss this. But to be fair, I love Noire so this is more up my alley. Not to mention an original property is a sea of sequels. (Brink being another one I am looking forward to)

Oh, btw I call you Lord Charles because it just fits your character and mannerisms (a good thing). I'll see about getting Epic to talk to the queen and get you officially knighted or something...until then you're Lord Charles as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't heard anything about MP on the game yet. If it's pretty good I'll get it as I'm already on the ropes over just SP.

I've heard no MP... at all. But I'm not 100% sure. Getting it from GF for the SP.

Well with so many games coming out and only 2 out at a time with game fly I decided to go ahead and pre-order at game stop and do some trading in for credit. I will have this day 1. Looking forward to it.

I was watching JTV today and the Devs aren't allowing anyone to stream this game because of spoilers. Pretty ridiculous considering it's free advertising

For those of you that don't have this game yet, it's definitely worth buying. I've been playing it nonstop and am really enjoying it. The new tech they used is great because many of the actors you can recognize not only by their voice but also by their face in the game. If you like detective/csi type shows or enjoy playing Clue, this is a game you need to buy.

Yeah it really is a very well done game. In College as a Mass Communication major I took film study classes and one genre that I studyed alot and enjoyed was the Film Noir genre. Playing this game they did an excellent job of incorporating some of the camera/lighting things that are key to those types of films. Great stuff.

I bought it, haven't played it yet...3 CDs long...you can play it in black and white to capture the feel of the time.

its not that la Noire is a very very long game the only reason its 3 disc is because the compression on xbox disc is gay.

Guess he really, really likes it too. Not yet sold myself. I'll just wait for GOW3 in Sept. followed by MW in November.

I have more than enough games to keep me busy until then.

Are you serious? Did you play GTA4 or Red Dead Redemption? It's a Rockstar game! It's getting stellar reviews. Everyone here seems really pleased with and even some random guy installing sh1t in your house is raving about it! And your still not sold???

Personally, I can't wait to get it from GF. Really looking forward to this one.
