Welcome to the first official inter-clan tournament of the new map pack for Black Ops.

The S7 Black Ops First Strike Tourney

Date: Saturday, Feb 26, 2010
Time: Team selection starts at 7 Pm Tournament should start shortly after
Game Setting: Game battles Rules (no grenade launcher, no flamethrower)
Game mode: Search and Destroy
Players: 3-6 players per team, depending on turnout
Maps: TBA (maps will be announced at the start of the Tourney)
Prizes: Official Inter-clan Tourney Trophy

Details: OK, so this will be a Best of 3 Maps Bracket-style Tourney. Team selection will be random and selection will start at 7pm sharp (eastern) so do not be late. We will take a roll call and begin assigning teams. Members arriving late may not get a chance to participate if they miss this process.

Once the teams are selected they will be randomly selected for bracket placement and Round 1 will begin. This is a single elimination Tourney. Once your team loses, you are out. Winners will move on to the next and eventually final round.

This should give us a good opportunity to explore the new maps while having a little fun with our clan mates in the process.

We kicked around the Hardcore idea but it didn't get the required number of votes. So guess we will just run this one standard.

I need someone who has more authority than me to update the thread. That date needs to be changed to Saturday 2/26. Our anniversary cruise got pushed back a week so I am going to be gone on Sunday now.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. Was busy at that time (6 PM is early for me anyhow) but wanted to make it as I have been playing a ton of search lately (one thing that helped my performance in the all-nighter I think). When I finally got back to playing last night I promptly fell asleep anyhow. I guess only sleeping from 5-8 yesterday had some consequences. LOL.

Yea we only had four show up so me, Coolhand, Reggie, Miller8, and Black Ajah played Search and Domination for a while. We still had fun. I think we might need to reschedule for another date sometime in March that is not the day after an all night anniversary celebration.
