S7 Forza 3 A-Class Tourney - Season 2

Season 2 NEWS:

Almost there! Only two more races this season and things are really heating up. Interseptor (myself) has retaken the lead and put the pressure back on Glock. Meanwhile, Wiggles has continued to improve and is now threatening the tops spots after finishing 2nd overall in the B-Class Tourney. This marks the first time this season anyone other then Glock or myself finished in the 1-2 spot. He raced well in the Tourney and even had a couple of 1st place finishes. I was only barely able to come back to win it all.

Just below is another race to the finish as Epic, Sticky and Atrum battle it out. They are virtually tied in the standing thanks to Sticky's triumphant return (and Epic missing out this round). We thought Sticky was out for the season but due to a shift in the work schedule he is right back in it, showing up with a 4th place finish last week. The end result being 3 points separating these three great racers. It's going to be a dash to the finish and things are about to get real tense.

And still within striking distance is OC who currently has a healthy lead over Dovakiin (Kenny) and Chippy, the two new comers to the season. Now keep in mind that these guys missed out on the first few Tourneys and take a 0 by default in those races. Despite the huge handicap, they have started to close the gap with great racing and solid finishes. They can potentially catch and even surpass OC. Everybody has to be on their best game as we head into the final stretch. The race is on and even the slightest mistake can make a huge difference in how things play out in the overall standings.

Better bring your "A" game fellas cause this is it. Only 2 Tourneys left and they are the hardest two yet. A-Class and S-Class are all that remain. It's time to separate the men from the boys. Good luck everyone. It's gonna be a wild ride.

4th - Epic (22 pts)
5th - Sticky (22 pts)
6th - Atrum (19 pts)
7th - OC (14 pts)
8th -Dovakiin - (8 pts)
9th - Chippy (7 pts)
10th - Easy (5 pts) - Out for the Season

Up Next? A-Class.

Drivers will have just under 2 weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win. It is also worth note that we might have to Qualify depending on the turnout so be prepared. Don't be late or you may miss out.

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, January 20, 2011
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: A-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the A-Class Champion for Season 2.

Me too. A and S Class are my two favorite. Long tracks and fast cars. Not to mention you finally get to the really cool stuff. Lambo's, Ferrari's, high-end Audi's and Porsche's... ummm. Racing these cars is every kids dream.

I need to make up for missing a tourney. Gonna have to put some time in and try to challenge for 3rd a bit more.

Well, it's kind of fitting. All three of you have missed a Tourney this season and all three of you are neck and neck. It should be real interesting to see what happen over the next two Tourneys.

We don't take kindly to your type hanging around our neck of the woods... Best stay back in the 3rd place and beyond. And if your not careful, Glock will initiate "Thread the needle" mode. Never a pretty sight.

I just finished making and tuning this Alpha Romero 8c and it is a very good car. I may roll with this over the Merc amg black I had made.
