You know what else isn't cool? I preordered CoD from Gamestop and didnt want to wait in a 350 person line and bought it at Walmart after getting my receipt signed... they won't even take the receipt for cash back because their inventory auto adjusts after 2 weeks for incorrect inventory #'s. = $60 Fail

Ya that is a fail, best buy had them on sell for $30 last weekend. Sux but I can live with it, plus heard some guys talking in blk ops lobby and said that it doesn't work on blk ops only on mw2, they said that the programming in the game stops it from working , one guy said he had a modded reg one that he had to upload firmware patchs to it. Of course those guys could be full of it

Thanks game stop just what we need is a bunch of noobs running around with modded controllers. our only saving grace is that for $40 its probably a piece of sh*t.

I read somewhere (dont remember the site) that they where going to start writting in the program that certain weapons will only fire so fast. basicaly saying that the game will put a limit on how fast a weapon can fire and that would make modded controllers not as helpfull.

I would think they could even program the game to notice a frequency in the fire rate. There is no way a person could pull the trigger 3 times in a row at a precision that auto fire is going to do. I would guess the auto fire does it exactly the same down to a hundredth or thousandth of a second, and that should be easy enough to program out.

Was playing COD:BO the other night with someone and they were firing a pistol like an uzi. This was the single shot Python too. Guess now I know.

Easiest way to fix it would be just add a fire rate limit to every gun. They do it on most of the guns already so even the ones that you're supposed to be able to 'spam' on should have a .25s reset or something. 4 shots a second seems like fast enough for anyone. Even if it was slower whats the problem? The game would take more skill to time the shots.
