Wow, I saw the trailers for this well before it began and said "That looks cool, I'll check it out" then forgot.
But to hear all of you say good things, I have to check this out now!

Re: the walking dead
Agreed- I hate that it is only 6 episodes this season. It's pretty much the only show I look forward to anymore, as Supernatural seems down this year and I am way behind on Fringe. At least I found a show to replace my LOST craving.

Interesting side note. Last nights episode was actually written by the comic series creator Robert Kirkman.

Re: the walking dead
Hulu doesn't and I haven't found another site that plays it. AMC does show the walking dead almost everyday just check your guide.
Other then that I loved the 4th episode, I wasn't expecting that type of ending but it gives a wide open areas for the next two episodes.

OMG glock. I thought those were just for episode 1. You've been promoted onto my Hero list. In the event that I discover how to grant people super powers, you will receive one.

Re: the walking dead
Well me and the fiancée just watched all the episodes in succession through comcast on demand. I've been meaning to watch it but I keep forgetting due to football. Well anyway we caught the latest episode today and we decided to see if it the other episodes were on Demand. Low and behold they were...very well done show can't wait for Sundays episode.
Re: the walking dead
Catch all 6 episodes back to back leading up to the season finale tomorrow on AMC. Starting at 4:30pm eastern. Perfect time to catch up on the whole season. Don't miss out.

Re: the walking dead
So the creator fired himself (as a writer apparently) and the remaining writers on the project. This will forever go down in the "What the HELL were you thinking?" department. Sometimes people make really stupid decisions, and perhaps there was some animosity between the staff on the project. God forbid there's too much brainstorming and you have a dedicated team willing to make a genre work for the first time and people loved it! Granted, I've only seen the first episode, but I loved it, and will be seeing the rest. School work takes priority but I'll fit it in somehow.

Nope. I checked the schedule and it is only an hour long. The only 1 1/2 hour episode is the first one. Still, it should be great!

Re: the walking dead
Turns out this is not true. I saw the same article a few days ago and it is apparently complete bullshit. No one was fired. The reality of the situation is that the show was written, shot and finished before it aired and no one knew if it was going to picked up or not. So the writers all moved on to other projects and many are tied up and can't come back for season 2. Except the director and series creator who will both still be writing for the show along with other talent they hire along the way. They said they would also be working with some of the original writers as the schedule permits.S7 Knowledge wrote:So the creator fired himself (as a writer apparently) and the remaining writers on the project. I wouldn't worry at this point. I have a feeling everything is going to be ok as long as Robert Kirkman, series creator and the man behind the comic book, is still working on the project. (oh and all the actors have been signed for multiple seasons.)

Indeed. Can't wait until next season. I literally can't get enough. It's a shame we only got 6 episodes this season.
