Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
Caught up on the first season on Netflix streaming, and just watched the first episode of season 2 tonight. Its a really good show, but I do have a few peeves so far.
S1E1 Dude rubs his thumb over the slide release on his Glock and it makes a little click like he was turning off the safety. Any Glock owner would know their is no safety, and that slide release would have made one hell of a sound.
S2E1 Since when do Baptist churches have huge crucifixes in them? Someone didn't do their homework on what the inside of a Baptist church looks like. They have crosses, not big plastic idols of a crucified Christ.
S2E1 Heavy hunting in Georgia makes a buck with big antlers extremely rare. That buck had velvet over both antlers and the tips were blunt. With that many points it had to be 6 years old at least. I could understand maybe one velvet antler if it had recently broke/lost it, but both velvety on a buck that old and blunt points? Didn't seem right to me.
Besides what I saw as flaws, the show is fantastic, especially compared to everything else on - I don't watch any shows on a regular basis, but I'll be sure to tune in next week for this one.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
The wife and I watched Season 1 on Netflix between the Lions and Bears games and we DVRd the 2nd season opener, which we'll probably watch later today. So far we're pretty impressed and I expect nothing less from Season 2.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
This episode seemed to focus on where everyone stand in what they should do next instead of really advancing the main story. Over all a very good episode and I can't wait for next weeks episode.
Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
I thought the Season 2 opener was fantastic! As a fan of the comic, it is fun and interesting to see how they are the same and how they are different. It really keeps you on your toes not know what is going to happen or how they will change things. Very well done and very true to the comic in terms of look and feel. Can't wait for more.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
I'm glad that I was able to get into this show before I got too far behind. It's weird that my wife and both heard from tons of people that the show as good and then we kinda just fell into watching it this weekend. Good thing that the DVR holds a lot of shows because my DVR is starting to look like the TV listings on Netflix.

I finally got a chance to watch the season opener on my DVR yesterday. All I can say is wow... the show looks great and the story looks to be great. I'm glad they are sticking with the high quality writing and director.

Yes last night was a very good show. Thanks to Zak I am now hooked on reading the book as well. It is very interesting how things differ and how they work the plot. I really like both the show and the books.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
Daryl is so bad ass on this show and seems to have the most composure under pressure.
Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
A little slow paced yesterday, but still not bad. Only one walker killed the whole show I think. Hope we get more action next week.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
Well it's pretty well impossible for there not to be action next week. Walking dead really likes to do the slow times leading up to zombie madness.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
Anyone else still watching this (I know you are)? The last 2 weeks have been crazy. Last nights episode was insanely intense. I can't wait to see how they wrap this season up next week. The first half of the season was pretty much a slow crawl, but this second half has been great.

Yes I have been watching and enjoying it all. It is funny to see the way the story comes together. I have read all the comics and the stories are similar but very different.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 2...
Yeah my wife and I are really into it and it's unfortunate that the season's almost done. Each season gets better as they go. Haven't had a chance to watch last nights episode because of work but I should get to it today. Can't wait!

Yeah, I haven't watched last night episode yet either but I will probably watch it tonight. Mass Effect 3 is owning my soul at the moment.
