New 360 controller in November

Major has just announced for this November a brand new controller version that includes a transforming D-pad. The engineers have come up with an ingenious solution with a d-pad that can go from a plus to a disc with the twist of the wrist.

I like to looks of it, but need the colored buttons. LOL- I don't even know what letters are what, I just know which one is the red or blue one, and that's always how I comunicate to the kids- "press the yellow" button. LOL.

Cool for sure, but not sure it's something I really need. The only game so far to really use the D-Pad is the new Madden...guess they created this because other games will begin to make more use of the D-Pad for games.

I am with Miller. I like the looks of the thing but ultimately I think the colors help. Especially with quick time events. When the Red "B" shows up I know exactly what button to push.

Plus a study was done that shows kids that can't even read can play games due to the color association. They don't know what it says but they know to push the red button when it pops up on the screen.

I think the new color scheme looks slick and all but I also think the d pad is for the most part a waste. Oh and yes the the real colors are nice but it's a cool looking change if you were in the market for a new controller.

Looks pretty cool, I miss the colors too, looks kinda apple like. Might have to grab it when mortal kombat comes out , wish they would put an optional black and white button on the face,like the og xbox controller , but it looks like a good contoller for this= up, down, up, down,left,right,left,right,a,b,select,start

prob wont buy. but who knows? peer pressure is a b1tch.

I'm not running out to buy one, but if I need a replacement I'll consider this one. I dislike doing away with the colored buttons - who cares how slick it looks - for me its about function over form. The d-pad is pretty cool but I don't have a big need for that.

HaHaHa...if and when the time comes that you need one just contact me...I have about 7 or 8 wireless controllers. No idea how, but they started multiplying on me over the years. Then again I've had about 5 xbox units so

Too pricey IMO due to it being a bundle.

LOL Know how you feel Klown. Just broke my first controller though. Luckily I had a spare in my ammo pouch. Got it loaded before I was killed in MW2. Fast reload FTW!! (That's for you Security Guy.)
