I got a Legendary from a random engram. Then got an exotic from the raid. It's good for PvE definitely. I just prefer Auto Rifles.

Yeah, I only have a blue Dirty Harry but it's pretty beast. Now that I got the sweet blue auto rifle the hand cannon will be my backup.

I didn't get to run any of these yesterday (I tried solo and got owned at level 25), but would like to give it a go if anyone is down to help. I might not be able to team up and run it until about 9 or so.

I ran 2 of the missions last night (oops, up till 2am) and found them challenging but fun solo. Both missions I stayed back and picked off ads as long as I could. Boss spawned, waste all my heavy ammo, golden gun, and he's dead. If I wasn't able to kill him with the first 4-5 assaults it would have been exceedingly difficult.

Getting on now. Going to check the tower, then try to run some Queen missions.

Ran one late last night, got the chest piece, immediately dismantled it for shards, three or four I think.  Not bad for such a short period of time - I will do more of these for sure.  One more shard and I will hit 28.

I'll be running the hell out of them just for the shards.  I plan on having quite a surplus of shards by the time this event is over.  Might be overkill but if I get lucky enough to get the raid gear that's another 3 pieces of armor that will need shards for upgrades.

Yeah I've been running a few. The Earth missions are especially easy/fast.

If you do the earth one every time it's only like 5 minutes a run.  All you have to do is return to orbit if you don't get the earth mission and keep trying.  Sometimes it takes a while, but other times you'll get it right away.  Absolutely the quickest way to get through them.

Yeah, no matter how many tries it takes to get Earth - it's still going to be faster than almost any other run.

I'm sort of glad for this.  The guaranteed Purple Loot gear is probably too easy in general already.  Anyone can be fitted with Purple Gear in a matter of two days now.  Heck, you are even guaranteed to get class specific gear!  A few more days later and you could have them upgraded.  Part of the fun is working for that gear, then working to upgrade it. I like earning stuff. I feel the same about the Loot Cave as well.  But at least with the loot cave you weren't guaranteed anything.  Purple Engrams were still a gamble.  I do wish the drop rates were better for some of the events and shards were a little easier to get a hold of but these exploits were too easy.  Something in the middle would be nice.

Glad they got rid of the stupid cave - that was breaking the game.

Looks like I won't be doing anymore Queen missions though - I don't see the point if I can't get shards.

yep was going to get on and do the queens mission  not anymore   

the only good part of the cave was getting blues  to level up the tard .

the loot there is blah once you hit like level 25ish and up
or at least it was for me  o well i guess finish the raid on friday then back to diablo lol

Well, you have a point there.  Not sure I need to do the Missions now either.  Bounties get me the Rep I need.  Mission might be pointless.  They might could have solved the problem by limiting the reward rate so you weren't guaranteed Purple Loot EVERY time.  Having to do 3-4 missions to get one piece of loot would still be acceptable for most people to put in the time.

think that would have been the best idea   get 100% on your first time then ever time after that random

I must admit I do like the missions.  The mid-level missions with modifiers were fun so I might still do a few and bank a full Queens Guard armor set just to have something that matches and looks cool.

Yep, this pretty much nerfs any need to go the Queens missions unless you need the chest or helmet armor.  I'll do the quick and easy bounties for the XP but other than that it's pointless now.

the armor you get from the vanguard  is better then the queens stuff  (dont look as cool but still)

from what i notice had the queens helm and   chest i think it was

I can not access these missions. Its there but is greyed out. I'm a level 25 so I have no idea why I can't.

Have you completed a Bounty?  First step is to complete a Queen's Bounty.  Then you turn it in like normal on the Tower and you are given Queen's Rep and a Queen's Wrath Token.  Only then can you launch a Queen's Mission.
