New COD Treyarch

This years Treyarch developed instalment of the mighty ‘Call of Duty’
has been named ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ as a dedicated fan site has
been informed recently by unconfirmed Activision sources. Some other
game details have emerged that may surprise you, it doesn’t appear to be
a World at War continuing campaign, and nor is it primarily based
around Vietnam.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, will be set in recent history between WWII
and the present day as some missions will take players to Cuba and South
America, hinting that a Vietnam conflict will feature as part of the
game. In other missions players will be able to take on the role of a
SAS Operative within the British Army to fight close combat campaigns
based on London during the 1980s.
It was also confirmed that the the popular Zombie mode is back! The
original ‘World at War’ horde style game in which players get to shoot
down a mass of Zombies - but this comes as no surprise due to its
popularity. Other details regarding improvements or new Zombie features
(if any) was not revealed.
Finally, dedicated servers is also meant to be part of the new Call
of Duty game, which should put a smile on many a PC gamers face! Whilst
all this information does read very legit, until Activision and Treyarch
have released an official statement we still have to regard this as a
rumor.

If it is Vietnam it should work as a refreshing new experience so few games have touched on this subject if you think about it. So even though Failarch is behind this one again I still think it has a chance to succeed. Shoot the COD name will make it sell enough copies on it's own. Now if the game turns out to be good that's another story, I'm saying COD:WaW was cool but it didn't have the MW feeling in terms of overall balance and game play so we'll see what they do. I honestly don't care as GRAW:Future Soldier Will have my soul I will sleep, breathe, and eat with game when it releases I wore GRAW 1&2 out and don't expect any less from this one lol.

All you Infinity Ward lubbers can just pass on this new game and spend $15 on some old remade maps. Go on get outta here!
And wait for your new MW3 complete with incompletions and huge glitches. Did CoD:WaW have a Javeline glitch that killed everyone within a square mile? How bout a private room glitch making it often impossible to even get a real match? Yeah, that's right. Besides a few out-of-the-map glitches (that were easily countered and quickly patched) WaW was a much more polished game.

coolhand does make one hell of a point waw was no were near as glitch or modded hacked as mw2 is ...

COD:WaW or as I call it COD: Zombies was not nearly as glitched, that we know of... I really think that a lot of it has to do with how popular the game is. MW2 is quite simply the biggest game out there. EVERYBODY jumped on board, even more so that with MW1 or WaW. Once it hit that level, all of the idoits came out of the woodwork to find and expose all the glitches, mod their boxes etc... I truly feel that MW2 is a victim of it's own success.

Yup more people playing a game mean more glitches will be found. There's a reason the only thing people talk about is zombies. The actual pvp multi player isn't up to par with IW versions. I still played it and loved the dogs though.

Yea I know what you Luke I will buy this COD as I buy all COD's, I'm not knocking it I'm just a diehard GRAW fan and We've had so many sleepless nights on the first 2 games. It's just GRAW will have my attention more than any other title when it releases this fall. Now everyone go rush Lagoon lol!!!

Yeah, but they did patch things really quickly. Credit where credit is due.

Even though I think COD4 was the best FPS ever made on the face of the planet, I did enjoy WaW, and still do sometimes. I play it from time to time still because it is fairly good game and it is good to spend time between it and COD4 while MW2 is failing with all the glitches. I will most likely buy this game and if they make it correctly I will enjoy a lot and look forward to playing with S7 guys.
