Official Black Ops 2 Breakout Tourney

Welcome everyone to the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 breakout tourney. We usually hold a breakout tourney shortly after a games release to help get everyone excited about this years new title. We hope for a big turn out and cant wait to see you on the battlefield.

Official Black Ops 2 Breakout Tourney

Date: Monday November 19th
Time: 8pm (Eastern)
Game Mode: Hard Point, Domination, Search and Destroy
Players/Teams: 2 teams (team size based upon attendance)
Maps: Random selection
Prize: Call of Duty dog tag (pictured below)

Details: We will be playing a best out of 3 game modes tournament. Each different game mode will be best out of 3 games with each game being played on a different map. Team selection will begin at 8pm sharp so please come early and get your classes set up. Teams will be chosen by team captains Coolhand and KnightOwl. Winner of the dog tag prize will be randomly selected from the winning team.

Round 1: Hard Point - Best of 3 games with a random map for each game. First team to win 2 maps wins the game mode.
Round 2: Domination - Best of 3 games with a random map for each game. First team to win 2 maps wins the game mode.
Round 3: Search and Destroy - If there is not a tournament winner after the first 2 rounds we will play a best of 3 games with a random map for each game. First team to win 2 maps wins the tourney.

Well there you have it, the rules have been layed out. Now all we need to do is see who has what it takes to become the breakout tourney champion. Good luck!

Guess if I have the game before Monday I'll try and make it, otherwise I won't bother with the tourney if I haven't had some time to play and get some classes unlocked.

Tournaments are played in custom lobbies - you will have everything unlocked in the custom lobby, so no worries. Everyone will be on the same level. Be there!

I would like to apologize now for killing whoever ends up on the other team so many times... It's nothing personal!

I will be there! I have yet to actually play the MP so there should be lots of free kills for the other team to go around. Now if for some reason the other teams turns into Zombiez, you guys are screwed.

My copy dame today so I'll have a chance to play a lot this weekend and get comfortable with the game again. Haven't played any MP COD since like March, excluding the Zombies I played with Zak, Kenny, and OC.

He will probably be at the Forza Tourney on Wednesday too.

I won't be around tonight due to family in town for the holiday week. Probably won't see much of me again until the weekend.

I won't get to watch the game probably until Thursday and someone will ruin it for me. Happens every time I DVR the games.

Ahh, that's fair enough. Have you tried just not sleeping?

I'm probably not going to be able and make it (as normal with things in the evening as my kids dictate my time and attention). I'll try to make one of the later ones.

I would but unfortunately I have to go before the liquor commission tomorrow morning for a hearing concerning a church near my store that's contesting our liquor license so it would be bad form to be sleepy during that meeting. Not a good way to try and finish off my time as acting store manager, might leave a bad reminder in my DM's mind when he has a store manager opening.
