Who's getting it and when

Got it for the next three days. Probably never play it again. Sooo glad I rented it so the first two days Ubisoft could just go on vacation so my game would be unavailable. Worse than beta. Such high hopes for so long and for this. Sigh.

Wont be getting it.

What? I have been playing a ton over the last 2 day and not had any problems. Servers have been up pretty much the whole time.

I think he rented it and got bit by the evils of the online pass.

This game is awesome...it has a Rainbow Six feel mixed with GOW. More tactical and fun to play with our excitful peeps. I didn't say much on the mic last night because I would have been to loud and the fam was sleeping. So next time just know I hear you loud and clear. "Thund3r hang back a little" lol

Sounds like it isn't a GRAW game, so I'll probably wait a few months and pick it up cheap for the single-player.

It's like GRAW mixed with CoD. I find myself missing classic GR play at times but it's still a blast.

Well I rented the game I would play with you guys but I currently have a silver membership ill be going through the campaign.

The campaign is now Completed! It is great on all levels.
The MP I've only played with randoms so I'll pass judgement more on that when I've actually played a proper game with you guys...otherwise the civilians just want to get kills but that's NOT what this game is about.

The MP is night and day depending on who you are playing with. Playing with a full room, or really even just a squad of guys to talk to and coordinate with is WAY better than any random I've been a part of. Basically the only thing random rooms are for is to just try and level up some and work on different weapons you may want to try to mess with.

I know how you feel. It seems like even when I get random teammates that do go after they objective, they literally just go after the objective. No containing the area, cutting off lanes. Just 'Get the objective!!!' and lots of deaths.

Hell, even I have that problem sometimes LOL. I often have to slow myself down from rushing in to my death. You have to learn to balance getting the job done with the time you have to complete the objective. Sometime I get in to big of a hurry and die too many times rushing. I really have to slow myself down.

Slowing down like this and "crouch walking" to the objective is a new concept for me. It's an AirCav thing. I was always more of a run/gun on R6V and all other Clancy games. Even before, but this one really, really feels different..like you can't run/gun or you pay the price. Before they didn't want you too, but you could and get away with it --so I did.

We'll all get used to it at some point. It could be one of the reasons we haven't been doing so great in matches. It's hard not to have that run & gun mentality sometimes, lol. Especially as an Engineer when one bullet to your toe will kill you!

Finally got on yesterday and played....love it. Co-op is very cool....MP is hard...at least for me....thanks coolhand for helping me out on some things

Once I find some scans of the maps I'll be making a big "tips and tricks" section that should help us all get on the same page for the different modes and how to win.

Yep, completed campaign with Klown in coop the other night. As it's been said - it's all about team work and stealth. Loved all the missions and some were a b#tch.

SPOILER ALERT!!! The last mission is the mother of all "f&ck me" and it is "timed" no less. Also, make sure you have a spare controller because you will break yours in anger during the church ruins firefight.

Would love to go through it again with a 4-man coop team. If someone needs a coop teammate then let me know.

I LOVE GUERILLA!!! (Best with 3-4 people though.)

Totally agree! But worth it in the end to know it's completed on Elite. I think this is the first game I've ever completed on it's hardest level.

More like real combat. There you only get to run&gun once. And the enemy AI are a lot more tactically sound - they seek cover, advance on your flanks, observe and shoot across all the angles, and throw grenades to pry you out of your cover. Love it!!
