Glitches to watch for and report

Here are the glitches I'm finding online. Remember, I'm only posting this so you will be aware of these - using a glitch puts you at risk of being banned from our clan as well as from XBL.


From what I've read you don't actually need quick draw and you can use overkill, so potentially that's a recoiless main weapon.

Of course there are a some out of map / on top of map glitches. I'm not bothering to post videos of those. The ones I know of so far are on Arkaden, Underground, and Bakaara.

BOSTING HACKING MODDING GLITCH even the clan tag glitch were u get button and stuff in there

WILL GET YOU BANNED FROM S7

so just be aware like coolhand said this is just to show you them so you know when some one is doing it and please report these players

Tried to replicate it in a solo private match and couldn't. Maybe it is a PC only glitch or they already fixed it. Either way I am happy.

this glitching sh1t makes my blood boil. Cant think of many other things that irritate me more than modders/hackers

Yeah I don't understand why they even play if they need to cheat to win. I used to work with a girl who would always cheat at solitaire; that blew my mind.

On a side note it's ridiculous what people do online. The out of map glitches are the most annoying to me.

Whats weird is I think I discovered this but was just unaware. I usually run around with a sniper and dual 9's and ive noticed how sometimes ive had zero recoil. never thought anything of it till i saw this video. Def need to report people for this BS if we see them.

LOL hilarious. by the way, would you guys consider it glitching to get points by camping infront of a sentry gun with a riot shield? seen this happen lately

if your playing a game and u have the shield and some one puts a sentry down and you get Xp from that one ... in my mind it might be gay but XP it up

now if it was one of your buddys on the other team and you two were planning on doing this then yes it is.

i know alot of people were doing this in cod4 and we did not like people to do it !
so its a tuff call ...

what i would do if it happens in a normal game you dont know any player on the other team and for some reason you run into this then buy all means do it
myself i would much rather just run up knife it and get points for kill the people coming back to see who knifed there sentry..

Well here is the way people are changing their clan tags to symbols...it was built into the game by the programmers. And according to IW it doesn't affect gameplay. I don't get it? Some say it's a Easter egg and it involves no moding of your system. It's funny to me that the symbols are built into it. I'm gonna try it to see if it's true and let you know. Don't worry I won't leave it there until the truth comes out concerning this.

Update: Best buy sold me a modded consol. Lol jk. It's confirmed it's built into the game. I was able to change the letters into characters such as the green A button. This has to be a Easter egg or something. Just like when we played star wars on rainbow six. It does nothing for gameplay.

As a note- S7 members should not be running the symbols in their clan tag. I don't care if it's in the game or not, the majority of the public is going to think you are a modder if you are running the symbols, and it's going to make S7 look bad. So the be clear, at the current time, no S7 members will be using the buttons/symbols in their clan tags while playing online.

These are the kinds of things that make me not too concerned that I don't have much time for MW3. Hopefully they'll be fixed before the end of he year so that I won't have to deal with it when I have more time in January. I'd be pissed if I set aside the time to play and had to deal with this kind of garbage.

I wouldn't do it anyway, it looks kind of lame and I feel the same way you do Miller. My first reaction seeing it was they had modded systems, it's a relief to know that it's not only because I'm not being cheated against...now if I could make something to detect lag switching fools and able to kick them I'll be set.

Like Sticky said - if its against random opponents it is fine. If you have a buddy on the opposite team and are coordinating to do this it is "boosting." Boosting is not allowed.

@JKing - if you have to question something or ask about it, most likely the clan will frown upon it and you shouldn't be doing it.

This has been taken out of the game.

last night we noticed people using the tactical insertion to boost. the video is in my online vault if you want to see it. one player on the loosing team had 10,000 xp just from repeatedly picking us his tags in kill confirmed. his partner on the winning team got the moab because of them boosting. the players in the video to look for are apallo13 and sennyd. once again this is just for informational purposes only so that you know what to look for and how to recognize players boosting/cheating and report their them.

When I see tac inserts on the ground I shoot them to destroy them - ruins their day if they just died and were looking to resurrect.

That is sooooo weak.

I saw a guy go 0-100 the other day, but he wasn't boosting (I don't think). Hardcore TDM, just blowing himself up everytime he spawned. Bizaar to see. Luckily it really didn't affect the game much.

To me that is a good spot for claymores!

That must be why tac inserts are level 60-something. I have never seen this, but doesn't surprise me one bit.
