I originally opened this on 11/2 and they hadn't done anything, is this how EA usually operates when you have an customer support issue? I'm guessing this won't be fixed before MW3 comes out.

Do I have to enter my email address somewhere in the game online to get it to match up with my EA account? This is really irritating!

Dude, I was having trouble logging in since my EA account was different than my XBL one, so the Gamertag wasn't linked. I went here, type in Battlefield 3, then I put in my cell phone number. Within 3 minutes an EA dude called me and it took 15 or 20 minutes to get everything corrected. If you put in your phone number then you don't have to tell them what the problem is until they are on the call with you. Try that rather than the email option - it worked great for me.

I chose that option because the email one said a couple hour wait and the phone option said under 5 minutes - it was no lie.

@Coolhand - I'll have to try that out next week, once I get "bored" with MW3. I work tonight and tomorrow morning so I won't need to have it set up any time soon. Thanks for the info.

Also if anybody is still having trouble, I ran into this same problem and after uncountable tries I figured out my problem atleast which might help some. Years past I had already linked my GT to an EA account through Fight night not knowing it. So I had to remember my old email I used years past. Since yahoo deleted, I just remade the account(since i forgot the password from years ago). After getting logged in through that email, I used that old email to log onto battlelog. If anybody needs clarification I can go more in depth, but I know my problem was not knowing I had already linked it years past and needed to use the old email to log on. Hope this might help some having troubles.

I couldn't find the clan Platoon through the find platoons. Is it under something else other than S7?

I still can't get this garbage site to work. I probably won't get into the platoon because I don't have the patience to deal with getting EA's douchecanoe tech support to fix my account and link my XBL GT to it so this will work. F*CK YOU EA! Sorry, I'm a little bitter.

I think Glock is the only one who can accept members since he set up the platoon and he has been a little busy with MW3. I'll look into it and make sure you get added.

I still need to try and get my gt linked to my id so I can join.

So, I was searching the Platoons section, and nothing came up under S7, and furthermore, the clan tag S7, and name "Sacred Seven" are both unused. Wtf?

This is still screwed up for me and I can't get my GT linked to my account so I'm giving up on it. All it does is make me want to punch a baby so I'll just have to deal with not getting into the platoon.

It's really just stat tracking BS. No need to actually join really so don't sweat it.

That's what I figured. Every once in a while I get pissed at EA and try to get my account to work and then become frustrated and give up. It's an exercise in futility.
