S7 Forza 3 F-Class Tourney - Season 2

The off season was great! We had a lot of fun and got to cut loose with a few JFF Tourney's. But as the song says "that was yesterday and yesterday's gone". For today is a new day and new challenges await. Today we focus on the future and the beginning of Season 2 in the S7 Forza 3 Championship Series. It's a brand new season and the slate has been wiped clean. Everyone starts off in the same place and the race for Season 2 Champion begins. Do you have what it takes?

So to kick the season off right, I am proud to present the S7 Forza 3 F-Class Tourney - Season 2. It's time to get back to basics and start with a solid foundation. It's anybody's game to win and chance favors the prepared. It's time to get to work and start building/tuning your F-Class Cars. Drivers will have a little over 2 weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win. This is gonna be one hell of a season so strap in and hang on. It's time to race...

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, October 7, 2010
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: F-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD(depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the F-Class Champion for Season 2.

Yay... season 2... LEADERBOARD CAR GO!

Oh and just a heads up... with season 2 besides the normal stats... i will also be keeping a Manufacturer's Championship Point Standing as well... so when you pick your cars make sure to post them up and rep your favorite brands, etc...

Nice. Now I have to actually go and get a car ready for the first race. Season 2 starts in just a little over a week. Time to start getting ready...

I started to mess around with some cars last night. Really not sure what I am going to use. What are you guys using?

I'll probably use the Miata - its ready I think.

I messed around for a while last night and still don't have anything I really like. Of course I could use the same car from Season 1 but I wanted to mix things up for Season 2. Guess I just gotta keep building till I find something.

I'm gonna make up some "Win Stickers" for each class... thinking back to my history in racing (and my family's) if you won a single race you'd get a trophy and a sticker that said like the track and feature winner... so you'd get to the end of the season and the winning drivers would have stickers all over the roof of the car...

so i'm thinking same type... i'm gonna make, for example:
F Class Feature Winner - Basic...
F Class Series Winner - A little more to it...
Season 2 Champion - Something over the top

Glock should get one for his Season 1 Title have that on all his cars etc...

Now just cause its my idea doesn't mean someone can't run with it if they like it... my forza vinyl skills are average at best... so if someone has a thought... post it up..

Well, after some more testing I am leaning towards a Scion TC with a RWD conversion. In fact, I told Glock last night that I am thinking of doing every race this season using only RWD cars (and no assists). Not sure if I will or not but it would be challenging. Either way, I should have something finalized and posted up over the weekend.

@ Wiggles - Cool stuff. Go for it. You could maybe even make stickers for other awards... like "Threading the needle" LOL!
