OK, i have a bad habit of hitting the X button to close a page but in Firefox there seems no way to set it up to close that tab that your in without closing out the other tabs at the same time that are open.

There's an X button that you can hit on the tab next to the name of whatever site you're on.

Also, I'd suggest the FireGestures add-on. It lets you just use simple, custom mouse gestures to do pretty much everything on Firefox, including opening and closing tabs, switching between them, stop/reload, etc.

I'll look into the addon you mentioned.

In IE it let's you hit the big X in the corner and just close that tab vs having to find that little X in the tab. It's just more convenant for me. I'm just used to IE I guess. Just spoiled.
