Gettin' it!

Open beta starts Aug 31st for all platforms.

One of my 'must buy' games for sure.
Can't wait to play a new BF game again.

This will actually be my first BF game to every play/own. I'm excited for what it looks like it has to offer. Might go pick up an older version for $10-$15 at gamester just to check out the technique of the game.

Lies and slander!

The series has gone through some ups and downs. Have you watched any gameplay Droopy?
Horseback fighting (sword or gun), armored trains rolling through towns, dynamic sandstorms covering the battlefield, etc.

I haven't been really into the series much since BF3, but this one looks fun.

We will see how much actually makes it into mp..........

I'll be judging my purchase in beta. I've played a lot of bf games and non have had my attention to long.

Probably all of it. All that type stuff was in BF4 too. It I'll be a great game but it's not small map CoD style gameplay. Those looking for TDM should look elsewhere. It plays very different but the huge maps, vehicles, dynamically changing maps etc... make BF great IMO.

Yeah, I watched 30-40 minutes of gameplay from EA at gamescon yesterday. All the stuff I listed was just what I saw happen in the game itself. I haven't kept up on the game at all so I was like "WTF horses?"

Also, the air battle fits the time. So no auto-lockon OP apaches, or ridiculous fighter jets. It'll definitely still influence the ground game, but matches shouldnt become 'who has the helicopter up' like other BFs have.

Battlefront was garbage and most gamers agree, Battlefield is a gigantic series beloved by hardcore gamers for its strategy in taking over huge maps. It isn't tiny map ADHD throw grenade spray wildly kamikaze like COD, which is beloved by 13 year olds who like to scream the N-word and don't understand basic teamwork.

Who else has this game?

I'm really enjoying it so far. I find it hard to not just sit back and snipe with the Russian 1885 (or whatever date) the whole game. But that's the joy of Battlefield. You can do that if you want

When do y'all play it?!? i've been on around 8-12 the past 3 nights. We need to squad up!

I've been playing a decent amount later at night. Usually around 10 Pacific starting.

i only get on to play xbox thurs fri and early to mid sat
work pwns me the rest of the time

had a solid group going so much fun =)

Me puppet and voyager have it on the PS4 side.

Servers for BF1 and possibly other EA games are down. No info on the reason/cause and no ETA on when they'll be back up.

I have it for PS4....Fun game.

For those who still keep up and play this game. They have added custom game modes, not only do they have HARDCORE mode but you can now rent a server and change the settings based on your custom game. It's pretty neat. Click here to read more from the Official Battlefield Site
