Would you play in the Halo Tournament?
Halo Tournament
Hey everyone,
I was thinking it'd be fun to get a little interclan action going before fallout drops.
Next weekend.
I think it'd be fun to do a Breakout tournament. It's fast paced and exciting. Aaand it doesn't favor the super skilled/hardcore halo guys as much since the damage ratios are different.
So post up if you're interested!

Re: Halo Tournament
COD comes out Friday. I'm sure I can tear myself away for a tourney if there is enough people showing up.

Ahh, good point miller. Perhaps it'll be best to wait. That or rush for a weekday.

Availabiity over the weekend
d@mn, won't be available. Got drill all weekend with the military and it's fire range. I'm already missing the LSU/Alabama game and the Fallout 4 release which I have a reserve for.

Just started playing and will make time for a tourney so long as it is not on Wed, Thur, Sat, or Sun. Yeah my schedule is busy.

Re: Halo Tournament
What happened? I'd just be happy to get four together on H5.
We MUST agree to at least one night to play this. I know this is the busy season with family, holidays, other new games, etc. but I'd love to get a few real games of H5 under our belt.

Tuesday nights specifically I am ALWAYS on and playing Halo starting at 11:30 EST. My schedule is late though, so it's probably rough for you east coast guys.

Re: Halo Tournament
Yeah but what's sad is we actually tried with MCC (Me, you, Sticky, Rags). That was simply a lost cause at the time. Chat fail, lobby fail, party chat dropped, placed us on different teams while still in party chat etc. Just bad in every way possible!! Now that we have a great game, really steady dedicated servers and nearly flawless game play we have no one that wants to get on.

I'm on often enough. Been juggling games around. Finished StarCraft 2 campaign, finished FF4: The After Years, about to start FF5. I get at least 3 matches of Halo in a day though.

I'm available to squad up from 8PM - 11PM EST during the week. Just need to pick a day. With the holidays, I have some time off, so perhaps I can catch Atrum from 11EST - until. Next week and the week after Christmas specifically. @Klown - let me know what works best for you.

Re: Halo Tournament
Sounds good...I'll be sure to get a party started and send you an invite Pharaoh.
Atrum maybe on the weekends. Or what about your tourney? reminder: you created this thread.
Xpert, 3 matches? That's just a warm-up to get the assassination / melee juices flowing.

Re: Halo Tournament
With all the other games launching (and still launching - SW being most recent) I thought it best to give people some time to just play.
I think I'll check what's going on with CoD, pick an open weekend evening, and just set a tourney up for then.

Re: Halo Tournament
I just find it hard switching from CoD to Halo because of the controls. Once I get CoD out of my system, I'm probably going to start a major Halo grind.

Re: Halo Tournament
It can be weird for sure. Ran a bunch of slayer matches last night then switched to hectic uplink on Nuk3town and for a match or two was trying to do Halo movements. But COD/BLOPS is like riding a bike. A bike that I've rode everyday for the past few years (I get a new one every November like it's my birthday)

Re: Halo Tournament
Yeah that's part of the reason why I skipped COD. All focus on Halo.
