Hey, if you're having fun playing then might as well keep playing.  It's a "young mans" game for the most part these days and I'm just getting too old to deal with it, lol.  I've really just lost interest in fast paced FPS games as a whole the last 3-4 years.  I'll take games I can pretty much play at my own pace any day at this point in my life.  I think that's why I like Elite: Dangerous so much right now.  I can do whatever I want at whatever pace I want.

If you ordered from the Xbox Store, you don't need a Beta Key. We will see if that is true when I try to get on the Beta.

Logged on and had a message from XBL to Download the beta (I preordered the digital version). Downloading now and should be on after 9:00 to give it a try.

Got my beta key and two other but they are not working. They are for Xbox one yes. Ok I'm going to try a few more times and hope one of them work.

Got an a message from XBL to Download the beta (I preordered the digital version)from my smart glass app, clicked the link from my phone and started Downloading remotely without ever touching my xbox, awesome

I played quite a bit last night, and it has quite a different feel. Not just the non-Exo abilities switched for weaker "enhancements" but the weapons and most everything. So far it's probably a bit better than Ghosts and AW, but there is still a lot to unlock and learn. The specialists are pretty cool, and you'll earn your special every match a time or two, making it feel like free kill streaks. I still have not settled on a weapon yet, and that has the most different feel of the game. It's more like using destiny or boarder lands weapons than COD guns, even the energy ones from AW. I don't know what it is, but they just feel off/different to me.

So far I'm liking this s lot, even thought I've been sucking and getting my ass handed to me. Once I settle on a good gun and quit switching every match, maybe I'll find my groove and do better. Should be back on tonight about 9 to rank up and unlock more.

I played it for a bit over the weekend and I must say I enjoyed myself. Having been out of the COD games for 3+ years it quite a bit different but I found a grove pretty quickly. Outrider FTW!

One thing I'm not liking is having not to very little chance of winning a gun fight if you don't land the first shot. No turn around and win. So what is hardcore going to be like. I like the lack of air combat but miss the strafe. Weapons don't sound right to me at all. I've been using the ak or what ever its call it's an ak it's good fast rate of fire decent strength. Maps look good. My biggest complaint after all that customization of character we had in aw it's now this is what you picked for a special that's what you and every one els using it looks like. Blah
