What's better- food or drink? Empty What's better- food or drink?

What do you all find is more benifical? Eating food for the increased maximum magic/health/stamina, or a drink for increased regen rates? At first I thought it was the regen, but have been thinking the max might be better now.

Definitely food for me.  Max Magika means more damage.  I can use potions/skills (Dark Conversion FTW) for a quick fill/regen boost if I need to.

from running end game stuff Food is what evey one eats the boost is well worth it ...


regen is nice but really does not helps as much as you might think
at least thats coming from me as i have skill i have to help regen alot faster

For health I like food. For magic healing I like drinks. I haven't played enough using stamina to say.

agreed their is a soup that give a big boost to HP and Magika for 1 hour its op

I currently eat Khajiiti Sweet-Stuffed Duck (Max Health & Magika) VR5 recipe that gives me almost 4000 extra max HP and Magika.  With the added time boost each one lasts an hour and 20 minutes.  I currently have 130 of them made so I'm good for the next 173 hours.  I'll be looking for a VR10 recipe as soon as I hit that level.  Currently VR7.

I'm not a big fan of the purple recipes due to the fact that while you do get all 3 stats raised they don't get raised as much and I don't use stamina at all.

Yeah my healer is still in the teens and I haven't given time to provisioning on DPS. I'll get to those higher ones eventually. My point was that for tanking/DPS/soloing I've found food to be better, but for healing I need an endless supply with paced useage, so drinks seem better.
