Xpert of all people may have just blown this issue wide open for me. I didn't consider that KH3 and FFXV (and very possibly FF7) are non exclusive. This basically settles the whole argument

It's actually been a little refreshing to see people come out of the woodwork and be passionate. I've been PC gaming for so long and the communities are so fragmented. They stick to their games and that's it. So long as everyone understands PC MASTER RACE LOL they just stick to their games. On consoles, everyone moved as a unit from one big game to the next, which is what I really liked about my time when I was still around. Every night the same guys, Whether the new game was X or the new game was Y, same guys, every night. Real sense of community, you know?

Vision - check out the DotD page, Drooy and I posted a bunch of XB1 and PS4 console bundles/deals. For about $500 you could get a PS4, PS+ and either 2-3 games or 1-2 games and a second controller.

Decided on the Xbox. The fact that so many of the games I want to play are non exclusive, and i've been watching people play Halo MCC and that has me super nostalgic. I've been watching people play H2 and H3 and I'm just like, remembering all the call outs and it's taking me back to when I played competitively, and also there is a twitch channel that late at night shows reruns of MLG Halo Mainstage and listening to the franticness of the game and watching Ogre 2 blow kids up has me feeling it.

Halo 5 does look amazing so far, so solid choice
