Clan Wars: Paris Brings New Challenges



New challenges are coming to Call of Duty®: Clan Wars! Up until now, Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare Clans have been battling for the first five pieces of the in-game Centurion and Valkyrie gear sets. Starting with the upcoming Clan Wars: Paris event, six new challenges will be added, rewarding the remaining pieces of each set upon completion.
 
Bronze - Platinum Divisions
 
Bronze through Platinum Division Clans will compete beginning Friday, May 1st at 12PM PDT / 9PM CEST, continuing through Monday, May 4th at 12PM PDT / 9PM CEST.
 
Currently, the first five in-game Centurion gear pieces can be earned by placing 1st in the Gold and Platinum Divisions, as follows:
 
Centurion Exo: Win 1 Clan War
Centurion Shin Guards: Win 2 Clan Wars
Centurion Pants: Win 3 Clan Wars
Centurion Loadout: Win 4 Clan Wars
Centurion Helmet: Win 5 Clan Wars
 
 
Starting with the Paris Clan War, the Centurion Gloves, Shirt, and Boots can be earned by completing the following challenges in any division:
 
Centurion Gloves: Capture the most nodes during any Clan War.
Centurion Shirt: Finish any Clan War holding at least three nodes.
Centurion Boots: Hold 4 nodes at the same time in any Clan War.
 
Diamond Division


The Paris Diamond Division engagement takes place over a two-day period, on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd.
 
Each day of the war, Diamond Division Clans will battle it out in four-hour blocks of time, with different times supported across US Pacific, US Eastern, and European time zones.
 
Regional times each day as follows:
• Pacific: Starts 7PM PDT, finishes 11PM PDT
• Eastern: Starts 7PM EDT, finishes 11PM EDT
• Europe: Starts 8PM CEST, finishes 12AM CEST
 
 
Currently, the first five in-game Valkyrie gear pieces can be earned by placing 1st in Diamond Division or Battle Royale, as follows:
 
Valkyrie Exo: Win 1 Diamond/BR Clan War
Valkyrie Shin Guards: Win 2 Diamond/BR Clan Wars
Valkyrie Pants: Win 3 Diamond/BR Clan Wars
Valkyrie Loadout: Win 4 Diamond/BR Clan Wars
Valkyrie Helmet: Win 5 Diamond/BR Clan Wars
 
Starting with the next Diamond Division Clan War, the Valkyrie Gloves, Shirt, and Boots can be earned by completing the following challenges:
 
Valkyrie Gloves: Capture the most nodes during a Diamond/BR Clan War.
Valkyrie Shirt: Finish a Diamond/BR Clan War holding at least three nodes.
Valkyrie Boots: Hold 4 nodes at the same time in a Diamond/BR Clan War.

Okay so I dropped the ball and did not select our bucket size and did not set our roster for this war. I have had a lot of RL commitments and I totally forgot to set the roster. So what does this mean?

It means we will be playing in the 5-10 bucket size because that's the size we played in for the last war.

It also means we will be resetting the the bucket size after this war and will lose all the points we acquire during this war.

Since we are limited to 10 members only the 10 members who responded to the roster thread the fulll time both days will get a spot (list below).

Sorry I couldn't make it and help out. My internet is out for some reason. They said it should be back up by tonight hopefully.

Strategies for tonight (this is what I'm thinking)-

Start off with Small TDM as it is open and one game will take it.

By then maybe KC, DOM or HCTDM will be open and move to one of those. Take them in this order (or in the order the other teams open it up for us)= KC (worth 44 points and less time/game to take), Dom (worth 45 points but more time/game to take), HCTDM (at 29 points).

Surely they will knock us off of the small TDM at some point, and open up the big TDM. We can move over there later and take the big TDM all while knocking the other team off of small TDM and re-capping it in the same move.

Someone will probably go for Uplink as it only needs 3 games to take (with lobby of 5 or more), but it's only something like 16 points, so I don't think it is worth spinning our time on it unless the team that has it or is going for it is really close to our score.

Anyhow, I'm just thinking out loud here, and everything could change depending on how the other teams play coming out of the gate. What do you all think?

Also, we most definitely need extra players. We had some pretty bad random last night. We lost one game of KC by 3, with our random doing decent at something around 15-10 KD, but only 2 tags!

yeah I think we really need to stay focused tonight the reason we won the last war was because the first place team got real comfy with their lead and we snatched it on day two.
