Still not super excited for this.  Just can't get on board with the whole Ben Affleck/Batman thing.  Gonna have to get some pretty good reviews for me to watch this.

I think he should be pretty solid. He's a good actor, I'm willing to give him a chance.

I'm interested, but DC is still second fiddle to Marvel IMHO.

I think we might give too much credit whether good or bad to actors....if the film/story is sh1t the acting can't save it, if the film/story is good the acting is generally pretty good.

I don't think that Christian Bale was the best choice for batman but because of Nolan he pulled it off and might have given us the one of the best trilogy's ever.

That being said I think old Affleck will be just fine now the story I guess we will see.

Batman Vs. Superman

Superman has actual powers like the ability to fly and actual strength-- while Batman is simply a very rich orphan that can buy equipment/toys. No actual ability to fly or superhuman strength. Just a belt filled with grapple hooks and rope .

I'm thinking the story will be sh*t and I'm putting my money on Superman btw.

I mean, it's already been done in the comics.

Superman has the powers but won't kill, so that's his weakness. Batman gathers data, finds his weakpoint, uses $$$ on cool gadgets to subdue him. In the end some other ACTUAL bad guy comes along, and the two end up being friends.

You need to watch Justice League: Doom it shows how powerful Batman really is. I too used to think he was worthless and lame, but after seeing this. it shows that his power is his mind. It also helps he has lots of money.

Isn't BatMan pretty much Lex Luther??  Super intelligent and super rich.  So he can think 5 moves ahead on how to catch superman in a trap of kryptonite.

If iron man can go toe to toe with thor, cap, or hulk then I'd bet the bat can hold his own. So long as they fight at night.
