With these class set ups I'm mostly trying to play slow and sneaky. Stay off the radar, don't give away my position until I know I can get the kill. Most of all communicate with your team. Party up and chat about locations of enemies, bomb locations, where you died, number of enemies and friendlies left, etc...

Who ever picks up the bomb on offense should be calling out where they are going. Everyone should know where the bomb is and stay close to help clear and defend the bomb. Once the bomb is planted make sure someone has eyes on the bomb.

I know there are a few people that don't like running a silencer but if you don't have one it makes it tougher to get the win. A silencer and blast suppressor are must haves for the team to succeed in search especially core mode.

agreed i have died several time because people are boosting all over the place and dont have blast suppressor on. on the other hand gotten alot of kills by people who have all the right perks but dont have blast suppressor on =)

It also makes it harder for the whole team to go one way on offense if not everyone has blast suppressor because you can see the exo boosts going to either A or B bomb. If not everyone is running blast suppressor it can screw the whole team over at times.

Man, I was obsessed with search from CoD4 on. I'll post my classes up later, but the above tips are great.

IMO the most important thing in Search is to have a plan for every map. Everyone on the team knowing where the others are going (specifically) is some next level stuff.

For us, just know each map. Know that if we're going Site A, you like to run a certain route.

This way you know where you can be killed from, where you can get kills, etc.

This is CRUCIAL. Other game modes you can run around. Search you need to go with what you know, and know what to expect.

Only tactic I use is to hang back to insure no one flanks. I have been killed more times from behind more than I care for. As far as silencers and such my theory on that is no matter what u run the other team, if communicating makes that null and void. So I go with whatever I run in dom. PATIENCE is the main thing in search. And a killer headset.

Another thing to understand is the difference in Search and Destroy and Search and Rescue. We all know the difference im sure but there is different strategies involved.

In rescue, people always scream GET MY TAG. Well we all know unless u are in close proximity to that tag, u run the risk of getting popped due to tag camping. That's why I don't go after them unless i am right on top of it. So to me, that means running in a group OR just not getting killed is the only way to counter that. Some will get frustrated cause you didn't get the tags but there the ones that got killed and i for one aint gonna die to save ure ass.

Now ure gonna say if we get the tags that helps. True to an extent. Just have to recognize the environment in which ure playing. This is just info from my perspective so im sure others have input as well.

I think biggest difference for S&R is long distance kills are much less useful/effective unless you have some followup. Win a long range gun fight in S&R? Cool. There's almost no way you'll ever kill someone exo boost/sliding by to grab a tag.

I found most of my search tips come from the old counterstrike days. I'll try to post up some in depth ones later, along with my classes (I have 37 total right now, with 3-4 for search). One of the main things is when planting the bomb, all 6 players go with the bomb. You should always have the enemy outnumbered, whether it be SnD or SnR. Also, play slow and be sure to communicate (there is no excuse no to in party chat).

I think there's something to be said for rushing a bomb site when on offense. On some maps you can beat the defending team there.

Why run multiple kill streaks? That is a huge waste and mistake in my opinion. Plus, if one player on the team doesn't run stealth, they can compromise the entire squad, so use all the stealth skills of a silencer, blind eye, low profile, and blast suppressor (I still say cold blooded is one of those). In hardcore you can get away without the blast suppressor and silencer (my hardcore class drops silencer for laser sight or noob tube). The explosive drones and danger close don't work for everyone, but can be handy in some situations. Plant them behind you or around the bomb site. If they are smart and running cold blooded, they are useless, but if not it will at least let you know an enemy is in the area.

When on defense, spread out and relay where the enemy is coming from. You can still go slow and not run into fire. Remember- they have to plant or kill everyone to win. Make them plant, and don't feed them kills. When they plant they automatically give up their position.

On Offense stick together and all go to the same bomb spot. Have one watching the rear/spawn, but all move together to plant. You will 99% of the time have them outnumbered. This is the time to rush depending on the map. Getting a quick plant can really put the enemy on their heels, and having all 6 around the bomb puts you at the advantage.

In S&R, move forward if you have someone with/behind you, and you can draw out fire. Go for tags and push forward as long as you communicate to teammates that are right next to you. You might die, but they can take out the enemy and get both tags. Also, pick up the tags!

In S&D play it slow. Pick off the dumb rushers and turn the numbers in your favor. Use a weapon that can kill at range, and keep away from the long shooting lanes.

Now that we have party chat for both game modes, communication is the huge part. Learn the maps and call outs, then dying can even help your team as much as surviving.

I always run streaks. I might not always get them but when I do it can help us come back from behind. During clan wars that helped us come back in a few games that we needed to win. That's my reasoning behind running "cheese mode".

Last night me and miller were chattin and kinda stumbled onto something that i dont think has been given much thought. When playing Search in any mode, we need to cut the chatter a bit when u die. Now im not sayin dont give intel where u got killed or what type of gun u were killed with, type of gun to me is good intel on how to engage that person. 

Im talkin about random talk. If it doesnt relate to whats going on in the game you are playing, chatter needs to be next to nothing unless u see something that can help the player. Being social is great and all but it can be very distracting. 

Just my two cents.
