Looking to make a new emblem and logo

I plan on making some new emblems, logos, and banners. I have some ideas, but i don't want to spend  a lot of time on a banner if we end up choosing a different emblem. I've sketched a few, let me know which one you guys think is the best and i'll get it together. Pick 2 if you'd like. 









Again these are just sketches, the lines will be smooth, together, and proportional, once i get it on the computer. Thanks guys

and i'm more than happy to get ideas, like if we went with number 6 for example, we could make the "S" a snake and the "7" a scythe or something to that extent.

Great sketches. I personally like 2 and think 3 look great on one of droopys prizes. Hint hint. 6 is nice but I like 2 best. Number 4 might be good when it's done but I would need to see it. Great stuff. Keep then coming.

They are all pretty good, it's  kind a funny Ive pretty  much drawn  similer ones myself, im just not that  good with gimp or photoshop. I can't  wait  to see what they look like in the end and I still haven't  found a good silver blade to put it on. I also have tried to make one like 6 but with the s and the 7 wrapping  around a sworad with wings and a brother hood banner at the bottom. I really always design  a logo that would  make a great patch. If we got some wicked as design  I know a place that can make custom  biker style vests and i think that would be sweet and uber dorky at the same time, they are kinda pricey but I would  pimp that sh1t like a boss

Just as a note here are a few I've brainstormed in the past, didn't really like any but I thought I'd throw them here

Just got home and messed around a little bit, here is the first attempt on the most popular. This is just lines and formatting, i'll make it look sick once i add some photoshop stuff to it. But the hard part is out of the way now lol

I definitely like the design portion. The shadow is wrong though. Just compare the top of the S and the top of the 7 and you'll see it. The perspective is a bit crazy too, but that's not uncommon in comic/graffiti style art

PS: Not trying to be rude at all, just giving some pointers to make it even better.

Aside:
Here's another I have been toying with.
Idea on this was to go beyond just using the characters "S7" for the logo/patch. Some type of simple/interesting shape that we could put on everything and have it look good.
Excuse the rough lines, haven't bothered to vector it.









Could easily do a full colour one, just wanted to do the emblem as an example

Funny Atrum. I had doodled something similar before, with the triangle being more of a "superman" type "S" outlined my a 7 and some extra lines for symmetry.

Here are a few i've been messing around with. I still have to work on getting them transparent and not having that light glow on the inside of the letter. They are driving me crazy lol i'm not great with illustrator as i am photoshop. But give me some input and ideas ye's or neh's. I have two formats basically one has a darker color where the 3D part is and the other is the same color all around just with the lines of the 3D no shading. Also i haven't made any of my own pictures yet to overlay the emblem, These are all google. So i will make some that have gamer type pics, maybe some blood, scars in metal like i almost did on one of these. But anyway i'll stop rambling. INPUT PLEASE.

I like the stone one the best. I think the whole emblem is too graffiti or cartoonish for 3d realike graphics  Imo

The second stone one - the scratched stone - 6th on your list.

The two-tone designs look a lot better now. I don't particularly love any of the textures yet, but as you said these were just google images so that's nothing to worry about.

Your perspective is still off/not there. If you want throw me a pm and I can overlay some lines for adjustments/fixes.
