Was the alpha XB1 only?  Not sure I'd grab it either way but the game seemed interesting.  You guys will have to post up thoughts after some play testing.

Alpha is Xbox early access first.  PS4 access starts Oct 31st I think but you had to register for it. I think I missed out on registering a while back.  No idea if it will be public but probably not.  I am a little jelly.  this game looks amazing and is high on my list of games for next year.

Anyone play this yet?  Impressions?  The PS4 Alpha launches today but I don't think I got a code and I'm not going to pre-order just to get one.  Still, I have high hope for this game.  So what's the first impression like?

UPDATE for PS4 users:

Evolve’s been playable at select tradeshows earlier this year, but for many of you this will be your first and best chance to see what Turtle Rock has cooking before it launches. Evolve is still months out from its release date on February 10th, so getting in now is recommended if you’re impatient. Which is totally fine.
Because this is a limited closed alpha test, you’ll need a code to register for a chance to participate. Fortunately, we have one for you below. Use before it expires and remember that you must have an active PS Plus membership to play.

Oh man I didn't even read the xbox message on live.  Maybe I have a code an invite afterall.

NightOwl was playing it last night and seemed to really like it - said the graphics were great - I'm looking forward to trying it.

I wish I could be in the preview program. I guess original first-wave XBL beta tester isn't enough to be picked  Crying or Very sad

UPDATE #2:

Ouch!  The new 2.0 update is causing problem with the Evolve Alpha.  The Alpha is currently postponed on PS4.

I guess I have been lucky.  I have not had any problems with the new update but clearly there are some issues going on here.  I hope they get it fixes soon for those effected.
