Server Issues - Dropped from Game

Anyone else having a problem with being dropped from the game world and sent back to the title screen after an error screen that says "go to help.bungie.net and search for error code centipede"? Did that only to find that many others are having that problem and the Bungie Ninja can only say they are working on it. 

It's becoming real annoying especially when I'm in a FT and get dropped leaving the other 2 on their own until I can restart the game. And it happens in story, patrols and individual strikes. My net is fine, NAT open and my ISP is fine (Cox). It has to be on Bungie's end but when will it stop?

It's something on Bungies side. It'll stop whenever they figure out a fix and schedule a time to apply it.

On a side note, if you drop from the game the difficulty adjusts down for 2 players. That's why it's fairly easy to solo a level 24 strike when you're level 24, but it becomes impossible when you're 24 and have 2 22s with you.

Yeah it's been happening a lot lately for the past two days. I tried the raid last night and it was the connection issues that killed us, not the bosses

Had the same type of thing happen to me a few days after launch.  Cleared up by the next day.  I think it happened to Puppet a few days ago but also cleared up shortly after.

I was having this issue a TON the last time I played (Mon night on PS4). I'm hoping if I get to play tonight I don't have the same issue. I'll be pretty pissed after the week I've been having, especially if I'm farming the earth cave and I lose a bunch of loot.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue still but it's really starting to piss me off. I've rebooted my PS4 and modem a couple times and I still have this problem (and it's only with Destiny, no other games or web surfing).

Right now I'm really just farming bounties and for most of them it doesn't really matter, it's just frustrating. However, when I try to do some of the Queen's bounties and have to run the strikes it really sucks to get dropped right before you get to the boss.

For a game that requires loot and bounty grinding to make it to the raids, and for raids that are multiple hours, you'd think this would be a top priority to fix. I've still got a couple levels before I'm ready to raid, but until I get more consistent connection I don't even want to consider raids when I'll most likely get dropped.

During the raid the common joke is that the final boss is actually bungie's servers.

Yeah, supposedly there's a DLC code for the Bungie Server Grimoire card.

I consider myself pretty lucky in this regard.  I've had issues here and there joining fireteams and some chat issues, but only once have I ever actually dropped during actual gameplay and that was like the 2nd day when I was still running the story on Mars.

Yeah, I seem to be the only one in the clan that's having this issue past the growing pains of the first couple days. This combined with the most recent patch nerfing the cave and Queen's missins make the grind of this game to get to raid level seem not worth it. I hate banging my head against the wall in fits and starts to only be rewarded with blue and green loot and to have the precious few purple engrams I get "randomly" turn into blue loot when I visit the Cryptarch.

I was just talking last night how I have only been dropped a few times, and in the middle of a strike I got dropped and couldn't get back in. Just kept getting the centipede error so I went to bed.

Yeah, that's the error I get. If I'm playing with randoms I'm pretty much done when I get dropped. Sometimes when I'm playing with S7 guys I can get back in, especially if they wait for me. However, since I'm only lvl 23 I spend most of my time playing by myself while the other guys are running higher lvl missons and raids.

Hit me up tonight when you're on miller, I'll run through that mission with you. Giraffe showed me a strat for the ending that makes even Nightfall pretty easy to do for that mission.

Stopped working for me at exactly midnight.  Not sure what was up since reseting modem and router didn't work and other online stuff was fine.

I have noticed the connection issues seem very prevalent during the late morning / early afternoon every single day. If I hop on at night, things clear up a lot.

What level are you now? 28 might be a bit difficult but the middle option ( level 26? ) shouldn't be bad.

Husker helped me through the mid option, so I got my 6 coins. He was pretty amped after the raid, so we rolled through it fairly quick.

Getting the "cattle" error today, and can't get on.

Yep, I actually got on for a little bit to see if you still needed help but saw you had Coolhand and Tipton playing the strike you needed but I kept getting the "cattle" disconnect myself.  I take it you didn't finish the strike?  If not, that sucks.

Didn't finish it, but killed the enemy. Hopefully it counted!

I got dropped 3 times last night just running patrols and trying to hunt down fusion rifles to dismantle. I've never known a game to have more connection issues the longer its online. Meh, it will get worked out eventually.

Doesn't seem to be your fault Cav. Just one of those programming things. It happens, and I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.
