I'm putting in leave for Monday, Tuesday, and possibly Wednesday - gonna have a Destiny vacay.  I'll be pissed if it turns out I can't get on the servers early though.

From what I understand you should be ok with getting the game early.

By early you mean before midnight PST, right?

Historically Bungie has never punished players who play the games early.

Yes, Coolhand had mentioned previously that he'll be getting the game earlier than most so he should be good to go from what I understand.

Gotcha.  I'm in EST, so I hope the game is rolling at midnight that night.   Otherwise, if I have to wait until 3am EST/midnight PST, it will be the weekend before I get to play since I start a 9-10 hr shift at 11am on the 9th.

Bungie has already stated the servers go live as soon as it's 9/9 somewhere in the world. i.e. international date line. When you get access is between you and where you get the game. Some have theorized that Sony and MS digital might be live earlier than the original 12 am PST but we'll have to wait and find out game day.

I probably wont have the game in my hands tell sometime on the 10th

After the clan war Sunday I'll go straight to bed and set my alarm for 6:00AM Monday morning.  Gotta stock up on Mt. Dew and hot pockets first though.  I might test the servers before heading to bed though, just in case.  Well, honestly I'll probably test them right away when I get it tonight or tomorrow too.  So pumped up for this one!

I think you are abusing your authority! Shame on you!  With great power comes great responsibility.  Oh, who am I kidding.  If I got the game early, I would play too lol.

I just realized I volunteered to help in a food line at work before requesting my time off, so now I have to drive up here on Tuesday to hand out drinks from 10:45 to 11:45.  At least I'll get a free meal out of it.  Just going to be so tired.
