I'm glad Amazon made the purchase. Both good companies IMO. Granted... Amazon is about the worst paying company for IT pros. Hopefully that doesn't hurt them xD

I Don't why, must be a younger gen thing cuz I don't see twitch as anything special I would rather game then watch someone else game.

I like to watch streams on downtime during work or when I'm travelling. Especially stuff like LoL LCS tournaments/qualifiers.

I see it as a step toward legitimizing competitive e-sports. Example: If you want to become an expert level chess player (ELO 1800+) you HAVE to review countless master games, study them, analyze their decisions, etc. As video games mature, the same thing will be true.

Then games like Hearthstone - it's a great way to get good deck ideas and see what combos other people are using currently.
