The Beauty of Destiny Empty The Beauty of Destiny

Watching this made me realize just how I was rushing through parts of the beta just to play and not really soaking in how gorgeous the game really is.  Plus I didn't get to play any on the Moon so that's all new to me.

maybe because we didn't have time to waste like that. You were only able to play for x amount of days before the thing was closed, and you had swarms of enemy coming out of caves constantly.

Once it's officially out and you can load any level and be the only player in the map then yeah, explore away.

Yeah, we had it a little easier on the PS4.  With the Alpha and Beta being mostly the same content, and the early access to the Beta, we got an extended look at what was there.  I think I saw every square inch of what was in the Beta, aside from the moon cause I was out of town on Saturday Sad  I even watched a full cycle of day/night in the tower one night (which takes longer than you'd think).

I went along a beach on the left and found areas with level 20+ enemies, screamers, and a tunnel unlike any area I saw elsewhere, so there was definitely more to see on earth.  Glad I took a bit to look around, but that level cap made it a game of stay away and jump and strafe run.

Yeah, that's were the lvl 20 Orge is. He was hiding in a small cave off of the larger one.  The cave/tunnel eventually connects to the area you have to hold for 3 waves at the beginning on the Strike mission.  it's called the Grotto and it's completely filled with lvl 20's.  Almost all my deaths in the cosmodrome were in that cave trying to explore lol.

Awesome video. Having missed out on the beta, I'm pretty excited for launch.

Zak, Kenny and I spent an hour or so dinking around in the grotto trying to get past the Ogre and whatnot.

Glad I'm not the only one that got to see that.  I'm not sure what the point was to letting us explore there when those guys would clearly one hit anyone.  Did you make it past to see what was down the tunnel behind that one?

Only after being killed.  I could see a little in the kill cam and there didn't appear to be anything special.  Didn't stop us from trying to get in there.  Sure would make a great place for a loot chest.
