Squad Join Beta

DICE and EA have a beta running that allows up to 5 players to join a squad and then enter a select MP games on the base maps to play.  The group then stays together as a squad as the players move thru maps and matches:

Well, this is great news.  And a bit of a surprise.  I remember Dice saying it was not going to be a feature so this is very cool.  Fortunately, in the mean time the PS4 guys have the current procedure down pretty well.  Still, it will be really nice to see this happen.

Yeah, we should have some opportunities to try this out over the coming weeks.  I didn't watch the vid but it seems like it should be easy to figure out.

I'm curious to find out if someone joins the squad when the game is in progress if they stay in the squad.  This seems to be how things currently work but I'm interested to see if that will change with squads that come into the game already formed vs squads formed in the game.

Yeah, it seemed to work pretty well.  Two of the issues I had with it had nothing to do with the beta: I kept dropping and having lag due to my connection and with the rented servers going live we got some odd servers (Operation Locker 24/7 anyone?).  

Just considering the beta it seemed to be working pretty well.  The only issue I have with the beta right now is that if a player drops or joins later, they can't join your squad, even if you're in a PSN/XBL party, because the party is listed as "Private" in BF4.  Hopefully they'll change it so the party leader or members can invite someone to the party so you don't have to back out, but it's not a huge issue.

nate tom  easy and myself no problems as far as dropping or so on but  dont like that conquest large is not an option on there



also any one on xb1 going to do the rent a sever  its 3 months for 60 bucks

If I remember right, Conquest large is on PS4, cuz we were playing in a room with 32v32.

Yeah, it just lists "conquest" but we were definately playing 32v32
