Totally worth the money if you are a fan of the series. It is also the best looking game on next gen currently on the market. I am super excited for the phantom pain.

Loved Metal Gear  back in the day on PlayStation. Will this one be coming to XB1?
Real question...honestly haven't been keeping track.

EDIT: Checked and it is slated for XB1.. Good deal!

Hmm, never was a huge fan of these types of games but if I have some time and need something to play I might hit this up for only $30.

If you never played one before I don't think think you should buy this one. Pick up the hd collection for your 360. I think it's the same price and you get three full length and very very good games.

Puppet is a PS4 player...
Puppet, I say get it definitely. If you've never played it's really, really good!!
(Well the old ones were with solid snake, liquid snake, etc. Now I'm not sure.)

I've played the Tom Clancy one (don't remember the name) for the original Xbox but I didn't really get into it.  As for Metal Gear, I never played any of them.  Might wait for a review from one of you guys before giving it a go.

I love the game puppet . But some people may not think it's worth the money. That is why I suggested checking out the hd collection before getting ground zero.
As for ground zero it is short. Like 2-4 hours short. But in its defense it has side missions and some pretty good replayability. It has side missions and collectables. And it looks really good. But as I said if you have never played a metal gear game and you have a playstation 3 or a xbox 360, I would suggest picking up the metal hear solid hd collection.

Yeah, this is like a prolog for the main game coming out later... and they want to charge you $29 to play it.  I like MGS, but I am not paying $29 to play for 10 mins of gameplay.  I might check out MGS Phantom Pain but I'll pass on this for now.

They are right if this is just a quickie before the main meal...wait for the full game.

Let me put it like this Puppet. As for the MGS series itself it was phenomenal!! They were the first to ever use stealth and do the "sneak and peek" stuff with the crouching and using cover. The first games ever to use the environment such as crawling under objects, using boxes as cover, ducking or hiding around walls, and making noises to distract enemies.

Praise from the internet:
Metal Gear Solid is often recognized as one of the key titles involved in popularizing the stealth game genre. The idea of the player being unarmed and having to avoid being seen by enemies rather than fight them has been used in many games since. It is also sometimes acclaimed as being a film as much as a game due to the lengthy cut scenes and complicated storyline. Game Trailers claimed that MGS "invented the stealth game" and IGN called it "the founder of the stealth genre".

My biggest issue is that I'm not he most patient and not usually he best at 100% stealth games.  In AC, you do better in stealth but you're not completely screwed if you bust out your weapons.

Lol I saw that. Pretty impressive. I beat it my first play through in just under 3 hours. I am stuck on the side missions now. They are hard.
