It is live for those that have the season pass on Xbox it is out.
I haven't picked one off the ground yet but have watched some game play and the switching back and forth looks quick. Switching to ra mode does slow you rate of fire a good amount and in smg mode it is really fast.  Also you can not add sights/scopes to it.

Pretty cool.  I'm not sue yet if switching to AR is a good thing or would be better to just burst in smg mode.  The AR sight is a good non zoom sight.  Smg is just iron but not terrible.  Its a good gun but I haven't made up my mind yet.  Using it a lot right now.
