Twitch plays Pokemon

So this is a program some guy made and posted it on twitch. Basically it lets a twitch chat room play Pokemon by typing button push commands in the chat channel. It's sounds kind of fun, except there is 80,000 people typing commands into the chat and it has now turned into madness. I keep going back to watch and see some non progressive gaming. Pretty amusing.

The main problem with the game incorporating chat in doing the movements for the character is the video is behind about 30+ seconds. So imagine trying to type something in that you want the character to do that already happened 30 seconds ago.
