BF4 ps4 xb1 side by side

in my mind xb1 wins

Tons of PS4 users getting crashes and corrupt game saves on BF4 also.  Hope that's not a sign for the XB1 version.

No problems here so far.  No crashes or bugs to report.  Finished the campaign on normal and played several online matches.  Only issue I have experienced is getting into matches sometimes fails to connect to server. Try again, connect, play.  In other words, normal online launch weekend stuff.  Apex has been playing even more than I have.  All seems well there too.

Oh, he did mention something about corrupt data at one point.  Fortunately the game saves to the cloud and he did not have any lost progression so, yeah, there you go.  His character is intact with all unlocks and customizations.  Hoary for the cloud!

As for side by side, don't sweat it.  Unless you plan on running the game side by side (which seems really silly and frankly very difficult to achieve) you'll never really see it in that context.  I can't tell you which one looks or runs better personally but I can say it looks freakin sexy as sh1t on my PS4.  I expect the same impressions from the X1 guys too.  Stop worrying about which is "better" and just enjoy the next gen and all it's goodness.

I'd say that the PS4 looks slightly better, but the difference is so small that it doesn't even matter.

After seeing that I'd say yeah XB1 was the slight winner. But really there are no winners or losers since you like what you like-- and I like what I like.

I'm going XB1 first (at least right now that's the plan) but will eventually get the PS4 probably around April just for the baseball game on PlayStation. If however XB1 has a true contender this year it maybe a while before I get the PS4.

The server update addresses a very severe crash issue on the PS4. 

Meh, I had 'some' crashes, but that lasted for maybe 3~4 minutes on one day. The "corrupt" game save error I saw was scary at first.. I just rebooted the game (not my PS4) and everything was fine the rest of the weekend.

As to the side by side comparison.. if you have to put them side by side and look hard for differences it doesn't really matter.

In the end, BF4 is sick. I like it more than some previous shooters. I won't need to get COD this season.
