Tablets Empty Tablets

My daughter is asking for a tablet for Christmas. We have a Kindle Fire, but it's not really working well right now (1st gen). I looked at the Black Friday adds, and there are quite a few cheap android tablets for under $100. Do any of you know anything about any of the cheap ones, or have one?

My wife has the Galaxy Tab 3. I believe it's around $180. It works great, she loves it. She's bounced between android and iphone for phones, had an ipad previously, and now uses a windows phone. So she's a very unbiased/non-techie reviewer and she really likes it.
