With GTA V being a mandatory install I won't have the room on my HD unfortunately.

use a USB drive and get both! You should at least start the R6 download, then it will show you have purchased it and you can download it in the future for free.

I already have all DLC removed.  The only "big" item I have on there is Diablo 3, but I'll have to dump that just to get GTA V to run.

I'll have to see how to do that.  I do have a 16GB USB stick that I never use.  Just never used one for the 360 so I'm not sure what it involves.

I believe you plug it in, let the 360 format it, and it works.
