A friend of mine that I've been playing with since Xbox Live beta just sent me a reminder of the good times back in the days!  It's too bad that back then there weren't any real money racing leagues.  I could have made a killing!  He still has an original Xbox and the MotoGP2 game that this was taken from.

10 years ago!!!  Man, I feel old now.

Yeah if I remember right there were about 120k on the leaderboards compared to millions on a game like Forza 4.  I've had some great fun since then but I don't think anything will ever compare to those first days of Live.  Now it's all taken for granted but back then it was amazing.

I definitely know what you mean. I never played racing games on xbox but I was all over PC racers at that time.

It's always more fun fighting for top 10 than top 1,000. lol

I got to 13th on the CS leaderboards once, I swear I must have been the highest legit players on there.

On the 'Militia' map, I'd get 3-4 of the 5 kills every round, guaranteed.
