Might have to get this one.  Do I need to play the first for 2 to be enjoyable?

I hope not, because I've never played it and I'm jumping head first into DR2.

Case Zero is free too, and is the prologue to DR2. I'll be playing it then 2, as I never got around to it but did enjoy the first one.

I forgot what I quit playing DR2, as it doesn't fit to my play style. I don't like game that have a clicking timer, as I like to explore all the areas and take my time getting the most out of one play-through. I'm not big on doing it a second time just to find a few items. I think I'm going to skip this one and hit up the Mass Effect series before November rolls around.

Playing through the ME series is never a bad thing!

I picked it up, played it for about 30 min. I'll probably try to finish it out before XBO drops.

Case Zero was pretty lame but I'm still gonna give the main game a shot, at least for a little while.

Put in an hour or so on Case Zero and it seems like an ok game.  I've never been a huge Capcom action game fan, but it's a free game so even if it blows I'll be out only the time it took to try it out.

Finally got around to playing it yesterday. Can't say i liked the campaign or main mission stuff, but the stupid little party games you play that involve zombies only for the reason of having them in the game was pretty fun lol. I probably won't pick it up again.

I was able to play through Case Zero, but Dead Rising 2 feels like it's definitely lacking and I get bored quickly playing it.   I doubt I'll be playing them again.
