Ohhh yeah. I've been in the mood for another shooter to play on my console.

Over all not to bad  looking great new game mode look cool

love that you can change how you look much like in R6

might end up picking it up for xb1   but bf4  will be my first buy

I was not going to get ghosts at least righ away but d@mn they have sucked me right back in. I am liking the the customization and new game modes a lot but what really has me is the huge added clan support and clan wars. Looks so good and is sort of what I expected when they first announced elite. But yeah I am buying this for the Xbox one when I get money to buy it. I also will rent it for the 360 for sure. d@mn cod i was done for a whole with you but nope not any more, yeah I'm a sucker.

Looks pretty sweet. You finally get to customize your player,about time, but its probably just so they can sell more microtransaction bs. I do like how your ingame progress will transfer over from 360 to xb1 and I was surprised by that and that th we season pass transfers over 2. Looks like I'll rent the 360 version while I wait for titan fall xb1 edition to drop

Gotta admit even for me, a recently admitted CoD "hater", what I saw looked pretty d@mn cool.  But in the end I think it'll still end up being the same run & gun fest that I've grown weary of.

Was anything mentioned about running on dedicated servers on the XB1?

 no and i dont think they will either  they did not say anything about more then 18 players.
and  i get the feel if anything it will be a port to next gen

Looks great- I will be getting for sure, and will also be at the least renting the 360 one the weeks before. I like the Squad mode where you can earn XP when offline! Plus they added some semi-destructible type environments, but the custom character added to the way they have changed the loadouts looks epic. Only problem is with 10 characters it's not going to be near enough for me- LOL. I'm looking forward to the search and rescue game mode, and hope it's a popular one that has a lot of players.

big plus was clan matches just like Halo 2  they got there own playlist boom

Yup surprisingly the two best features customization and clan stuff is way over due and all stuff we have seen in other games from the Xbox or the 360. But I do like some added game modes, squad modes, destrucable map features and new weapons but we see those with ever game.

BTW- did I see a shotgun with a noob tube on it ?

I agree with Miller and OC, the destroyable maps, new game modes, and character customization look pretty sweet.  And I think Matt's right about it being a straight port cuz the graphics look a lot like current gen, unless that's what the demos were on.

Looking at the video (at 1:04 in the MP trailer), game modes include:

Free For All
Team Deathmatch
Search and Destroy
Domination
Search and Rescue
Grind
Blitz
Cranked
Infected
Hunted
Safe Guard

So what are the other game modes we are not familiar with? I can guess on Infected and Hunted, and have an idea for Safe Guard, but what are Blitz and Grind?

Yea im pretty sure infected as a game mode in MW3

My guesses is safe guard is like cs hostage mode
Grind is king of the hill 
And blitz is some form of hardpoint or demolition with a clock factor

They played it on the PC and the game mode cranked is all about once you get a kill the timer comes up and you have to get another kill or you just blow up.

Yeah and search & rescue is like a mix of search and kill confirmed. If you get killed you drop a dog tag that your teammates can pick up to revive you and the opponents can pick up to finish you off.  Not sure if there's still a bomb to plant or not though.

Ghost will be getting for the first time in Cod console history on the Xbox one dedicated servers. Yeah buddy. 


At Microsoft's Gamescom press conference, Infinity Ward confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will have dedicated servers on the Xbox One, leveraging the console's new cloud platform. The announcement represents a significant departure from the franchise's long history of player hosted multiplayer matches.
Additionally, the studio showed off a new multiplayer mode, Blitz — an objective-based gametype similar to capture the flag where players fight to reach the opposing teams' capture points.
Finally, Microsoft announced that it will be offering a special Call of Duty: Ghosts - Xbox One bundle for Europe that will ship with exclusive content when the system launches later this year. Pricing information was not revealed.
