Vengeance is coming

Not my favorite map pack. The Island map is super small, and mainly just running around the perimeter the whole time. Then there is the remake, which was better as a ski lodge. The other 2 are nice, but really are not that big either. I like the paint ball one the best, but the bridge one is surprisingly good being a pretty much linear. I don't play Zombies, but it sounds like that is the meat off this expansion. I'll be excited to play search and some of the other game modes on the new maps.

I'll ask as the only guy in society that did not buy the season pass and decided to go "piecemeal" each release, is this one worth my time? I do not do zombies, and I did not get the previous map pack BTW.

Not really unless your looking for new maps and feel like spending money.
The maps are ok not great and the best one in my opinion is the remake f summit called uplink.

The only reason I got "Revolution" was for the peacemaker. Not interested in a zombie gun. I guess I do need a few new maps, so I'll ask this way....

Would you say "Vengeance" or "Uprising" has the better maps? I'll get the winner of those two choices.

Uprising for sure. These maps are OK, but all rather small and not up to par with the previous map pack. I like all the Uprising maps- they are all great and the one remake is an improvement over the previous version. To me uplink is inferior to the previous "snow" version summit.

See the thing is small can be good. I'll give an example, overall there's no map cooler than Nuke Town. 99.999% of all players agree and its the reason it's used for the fast paced chaos during double XP weekends. It's great to have a small map to run gun and/or snipe that's fun for all.

But, since you're both more or less saying no to Vengeance I'll grab uprising instead.

Boo on the small maps and nuke town blows imo

My shipment strategy: spawn throw nade shoot get a kill die repeat.

Shipment from COD4 is hands down the best small MP map and if you don't agree, get yer copy of COD4 and I'll 1v1 you on it!

Well, decided to get both Vengeance and uprising to see what I'm missing.
We'll see how this goes....

I agree that Vengence is ok, but I haven't played Buried. The paintball map is pretty fun though and the highway bridge (Detour?) might be better with ground war because of all the many routes that can be used/covered.

So far so good (haven't seen them all).
Most I've been in have been okay and that goes for both packs.
