You know, if you're going to hack someone, at least pick a worthwhile target. Over the weekend, computer miscreants didn't heed my advice, and instead hacked the account of Xbox Live friend-to-all Major Nelson. The cyber-criminals took Director Nelson's profile and used his account to post various messages, like "I am a f*g," "Code of conduct my *ss"and other witty, important statements. Also, the hacker offered to take over anyone's account for $100.
As of this morning, the account was safely back in Major Nelson's possession, and Microsoft's Stephen Toulouse tweeted that Microsoft Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE Stephen Toulouse that the hack looks like it was "very specific" and "very targeted" to Major Nelson''s account. Toulouse is investigating the matter further.

Funny but if his account can get hacked your's can to watch out keep your eye's peeled for any unusual activity. Who ever the perps we're had some balls though lol.

Lol 'hacked'. More like you can find all of Major Nelsons info online so they called XBL support and talked to some idiots that gave them the account info.

LOL I wouldn't put it past them XBL support are pretty useless I tend to go around them any chane I get cause they frustrate me bit then, that could be everyone.

he got his account back in just a few hours, while others wait weeks to get their account back. Just goes to show who you are to get stuff done.

yep when my account got hacked i wait 3 months for them to get back to me and tell me o we have your account back but it will be under review for another 6 months ...

so i got the finger and had to start all over again

I dont wish bad on anyone so it really does suck. Specially cuz it means no one out there is safe.
