Path of Exile

There's a free PC game called 'Path of Exile'. It is currently in Beta and plays a lot like Diablo 2. I haven't put a lot of time into it, so I can't really say much about it yet, but I already enjoy it more than Diablo 3. Has the dark atmosphere that's more familiar to Diablo 2 and you get to choose what attribute you want to raise upon leveling up. From what I can gather, there is more character customization and that was enough for me to put it ahead of Diablo 3. lol. Check it out sometime.

It looks pretty cool. I like the skill screen. Reminds me of FFX-2 for some reason.

Never played 10-2, but I do like the skill tree in this game. I'd play this some more to give more feedback, but I'm currently into my Skyrim (no fast travel) playthrough.

Ahh, Elder Scrolls no-fast travel playthroughs are the best.

You mean X. X-2 was a job type system.

I've been playing this for about a year now and have loved every moment of it.

Ahh, that's right. I was upset that X-2 moved away from that.

As far as I know, there are only 3 acts right now and 3 different difficulty settings, which difficulties are probably like Diablo where you unlock the next difficulty after you completed all the acts. I'm going to say that this game is kinda tough even on normal difficulty on the first act. If you don't take care of some of the first unique monsters you see appropriately, you will be destroyed quickly.
