Elite Clan Events for the week of Jan 07 - Jan 13

I thought I posted last weeks events, but it doesn't look like I did- sorry about that. We did pull a Bronze on Sunday to rank us up to level 10. At level 10 we get a Gold Clan Tag, whatever that means for BO2.

This week they have brought back the daily challenges. Remember- in a clan challenge all clan members on Elite can contribute to the total score in the 24 hour period, and they have a different challenge each day. I think they start at 9 or 10 in the morning and run for 24 hours or until the gold level score is completed. The clan is awarded 100 clan xp per level (so a max of 300 per event) and I've listed the Bronze/Silver/Gold game point levels below in the challenges.

There are still the Clan Operations for the weekends. Clan Ops are for a 3 hour period only, and take the top 6 scores for the clan members on Elite, and you are awarded based on the competition of the top 6 scorers from other other registered clans.

We have already pulled a gold for Mondays Challenge with 81 wins as I look at it now. Good job everyone. I don't know how much CTF I will get to play tomorrow, but I'm sure we will get a few points there too.

I played enough yesterday to net 15 captures, so we should have at least a Bronze. The scoreboard wasn't working on Elite last night, so I'm not sure if anyone else was playing or what our current score is.

I forgot to jump on that. I will put in a solid effort to cap some Dom points to make up for it today.

Well we killed the Domination gold. So that's +300 for us.

Today is CTF Flag defends, which is going to take some camping to achieve (or a lot of Claymores and Betties). I might use it to try out some different guns and see how they handle, as I want to get into the LMG's and rank up my Shotties, both which should be good to just hang around the flag.

I got up to 43 defends so far which is a Bronze (30), 60 is silver and 90 is gold. I might get a few more games in late tonight to hit the silver.

I got up to about 75 defends, but had to hit the sack at midnight and couldn't pull in the 90. I guess it is still going for a few hours, but silver is pretty good. It started off boring trying to camp the flag, then I realized you get defend points as well for protecting the flag runner. So I was pushing the enemy flag and camping there until another teammate arrived and grabbed the flag, then escorted him back racking up the kills and points. Of course that helped win quite a few matches too. I'm getting where I like CTF more on this game, as most of the maps do not have a side advantage as they are fairly symmetrical.

Today is TDM kills, which is the whole point of TDM anyhow and should be an easy one.
