S7's 3 year aniversary is coming up in Feb

February 25th marks the 3rd anniversary of S7 and in the past two years we have put together contests and events to celebrate S7 and topped it all of with an up all night tourney. This year we are looking to see what type of things you guys would like to see for contests, gaming events and more. We want the participation in this to be as high as possible. Last year during the up all night tourney numbers were not the best and only 3 people were able to stay up for the whole event. So think about what would be the best way to get as many people involved as possible. May be spread the gaming events out over the week end....
Please post up here with all your thoughts on what we can to do make this the best aniversary for S7 yet.

Banner and Trivia contests are always Good, I think if we can roll out those the weekend before and end them the 13th would be nice

Game ideas maybe spread them out on fri and sat night
Have an all weekend zombie match(which we haven't had yet )
poker- top player wins, even if game crashes,
(but would have to be with atleast 5 people left in game)
forza challenge all weekend and one nightly event
blkops party game tourney with added lifes per game or just more rounds
blkops tourney with the guys that make the practices vs the guys that dont or just vs themselfs
halo tourney
blkops2 tourney
mw3 tourney

Not sure I'd make the events but what about some GTA 4 or RDR. Bring back some classics. Possibly depending upon how many people has it we could go really old school and bust out PDZ.

I say we start an hour early and go from 6-6 instead of 8-8. So we need 6 events. I propose:

6 Forza Crazy Game Modes (Soccer?)
8- Rainbow Six Vegas (or V2)
10 - COD4
Midnight - Poker Tourney
2 - Crazy Halo Modes (might have to be Halo 3/Reach?)
4 - Battlefield

Other ideas would be-
Gears
COD crazy game modes (sticks and stones, crazy loadout FFA, etc...)
Zombies of some sort.

Because of Halo's File Share fail so far Gears might be a better choice. Everything hilarious is built in to that game, grenades, chainsaws, etc.

Correct. Just a list of games that would be fun to go back and play.

Agreed. However, I would pick RDR or GTA 4, not both.

Definitely 1 or the other. I'd be happy with either but it's been ages since I've played RDR and I got into it after the clan did so I never really got to play any MP.

I'm gonna say we leave cod 4 out of this one and go with mw2, blkops or blkops 2

I'd probably pick COD 4 over the others, such an epic game, or possibly go with WaW since we almost never play that anymore unless its for old school zombies.

I'm just not sure we will get a great turnout with such old games, idk if the new guys have those old titles, and based in the responses of this post, doesn't seem like we have a whole lot of intrest in the whole event, sad panda

COD and R6 are staples. We could easily do BO2 since most everyone has it and just do crazy game modes, which are always fun with the clan. I was thinking of a cowboys and indians mode, with shotgun/revolver vs. crossbow/tomahawk. Stuff like that.

I'd like to see the banner contest going again. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to make an entry or two but that was fun last year and we had a lot of great submissions.

I see no reason to play an earlier CoD unless it is 4.

IMO what we should do for sure:
Blops 2 - regular tourny
Blops 2 - Zombie grief tourny
Poker
R6V2
Halo 4
Forza - tourny or variety of modes like soccer, cat and mouse, or relay.

Maybe one of these, time allowing.
RDR - I have this
GTA4 - I do not have this anymore
